I got so close to keeping them all alive man, so damn close. Then a friggin RPG downed half the squad on the way to the choppa. We saved all but one... My fault for adding LAMB's RPG ai behavior XD.

10/10, would love to see these missions as a campaign! (Or in A4 one day)

great mission, really enjoyed it although it was tough!
amazing mission i made it out alive however the task keep RT Releigh alive is impossible i tried it quite a few times.

Use Helicopter Transport by pressing keyboard shortcut 0-8-1-1 while looking in the general direction of the launch pad at FOB1, have your team mount up first, then get in and use the map (hold Ctrl and mousewheel to zoom in/out) to click on the desired LZ (the blue dot icon). The transport should handle the rest. You'll use the same method for extraction from the AO.

fun mission, sometimes AI will get stuck near a tree and they would be hit I couldn't get the medic to revive them or myself. Ty for making this

Great mission! I had fun. The detail in the FOB was great. I like the Dialog choices. The mission was tense and action packed. I played with vanilla AI and still had a great time. Just set you squad to engage at will and let them go to work.

This was one of the first SP missions I played with SOG Prairie Fire, and it blew me away! The mission served as the foundation for my own-made SP missions, thanks to HeadUp sharing the mission files with me. Replayed it again, this time with Johnnyboy's SOG AI mod, and the awesome mission is even more enjoyable then when I last played it! It has the right balance of realism, authenticity, action, and fun. HeadUp's attention to detail is simply unmatched, and his missions, Over the Top, in particular, are benchmarks I strive to achieve when I make my own missions.

This mission was fantastic and very immersive. Can't really find any flaws besides the absolutely broken nature of the SOG PF tracker module, but that's not really something you can tweak in any way. Thanks for making this

@HeadUp his mod is a good concept but when you install it it disables the ability to switch between your team mates so thats a hard pass for me. you can honestly just use Echo's Sandox Everywhere mod and it does the same thing JB's mod does and much more. just get that and use zeus to give yourself team mates. also comes with arsenal, vehicle spawner and cheat menu. really dk what all the hype is about.

Just finished this mission and had to say you did a really great job on this.. About to start another one of your scenarios now and I am very excited! Didn't use the SOG AI mod either, the AI spawner and control worked great.

Had been subscribed to this bad-boy for awhile, but just got around to playing it. Great job man. Although SOG:PF has got to be in my top 10 list of GOAT games, I too was a little let down with the lack of singleplayer scenarios. This was an extremely detailed and awesome mission. I wish I had played it before making my own scenarios, it definitely would have influenced me and made mine better. Hope there's more to come.

Thanks a lot for capturing that video and sharing it here. I appreciate the feedback. It’s helpful to watch others playthru’s so I can see where players get stuck. Good to see the details of the mission, like the populated FOB, are noticed and enjoyed.

Here is the video about the four scenarios, it is in brazilian portuguese but I made the subtitles in english. I speak english like a caveman, but I think you can understand haha. To use the High Command mod you need to put a module inside the mission or just download and load?

Obrigado por jogar. My SOG PF releases were made and released for single player only, as it felt like there was so much potential but not much content for SP at launch. When I made this, I didn't really know how to edit for Co-op/MP, maybe if I can find the time I might consider making a MP compatible version. So busy these days tho, wouldn't wanna get your hopes up. You're right the AI can be very stubborn, as One-Zero sometimes the role feels like herding cats - but if you can manage to stay hidden (it's possible - took a Dark Souls number of tries) you can extract with your whole team as when it's finally time to open fire, it'll already be too late for the enemy.

As far as AI control, I have played this scenario using the Platoon Leader: High Command mod, and it made using the AI much easier and more responsive. I highly recommend it.

Well...what can I say? I'm very impressed about this scenario. I really enjoyed to play it. It's so good as the DLC campaing. It's so immersive that you really feel as an One-Zero heading your RT in a mission. Unfortunately the AI (allies) are very stubborn, making noise and shooting by their own but at all I finished the mission in 2:15 hours losting a half of my RT because they just don't obeyed my orders haha
I'm very excited and will play it again in my YT channel. I don't know if you havethis multiplayer scenarios, but will be very good to play it with more intelligent friends haha. Congratulations, and thanks for your excelent job! Greetins from Brazil! :steamthumbsup:

Thanks for playing. I'm glad that despite the challenges with the AI you still got the intended experience. The first time I managed to complete the mission and escape with my whole team alive was an unforgettable moment. Suggest you check out my other SOG PF scenarios if you want some more quality trigger time.

i was expecting an engaging and unique experience... my god did you deliver. ive had several issues with the ai, but that has everything to do with the base game and not the scenario. if anyone is looking to make this scenario even more fun i would suggest looking for a mod that tweeks ai behavior. overall this scenario by HeadUp can only be described as a recon sandbox in hell.

the moments where i think ive got them all figured out and the enemy jumps my flank scaring the shit out of me,

the moments where you have to keep moving, otherwise more and more Charlies will overwhelm and surround you.

basically I use an ammo script for ai to give unlimted ammo but i cant use it with this

I use zeus to give an ammo script to my AI team by double clicking them and putting the script in the command box but the box is not there could you change that or show me how?

Fuck yes dude, thanks for sharing your experience - that's what this mission is all about! The quiet paranoia and anticipation, the frantic gun battles and the feeling like you just barely made it out alive. It rarely works perfectly because after all, it's Arma, but we can put up with the engine quirks and bugs for moments like you described. Please feel free to check out my other scenarios on my Workshop and keep an eye out for the next release in the next week or so: US Navy SEALs and Vietnamese LDNN operating in the swamps of the RSSZ!

Oh man this scenario is awesome. First play thru I was ambushed and detected early on, fought my way along the trail leaving mines behind and utilizing RTO to help clear the way. I was finally able to recon the trail and get my listening device down after which I had to make an early extraction back to base. Once back to base we rearmed and reinserted behind the observation point via helo, after securing our flanks with mines we observed the enemy position and called in CAS clearing the enemy positions. Once the the enemy positions and assets were clear we moved to the extraction point again using the RTO for support and to secure the LZ until the helo extracted us back to base for steaks and beer.

I ran into some issues with the AI after 1-1 died, 1-4 would not give command back to 1-1. Mission was still playable though.

Thanks for playing and for leaving your feedback. Glad you enjoyed the details, you know by now that's my thing. I get what you mean about the engine and the AI, it can be a really rewarding experience if you can wrangle it to work the way you want, but most of the time it's just annoying and disobedient. Not sure why your character was invincible, unless you're referring to the AI revive script, which makes it quite difficult (but not impossible) to be permanently killed. If you are running any mods in addition to the DLC alone it may conflict. Anyway, folks who enjoyed this should also enjoy (and know what to expect) on the next release I hope to share as early as next week. Stay tuned!

The mission itself is very good. So much effort, small details, dialogues, back story, very immersive. One of the best Nam missions i played so far. My only gripe is the game and its engine. Even though we took out few patrols silently, the task suddenly failed. Enemy walked right on top of my teammates eventually. They kept coming all the time with a matrix level vision. Even when prone in the middle of foliage the enemy would detect me from a far and start shooting. In the end it turned into a massive firefight. I was also invincible, not sure why don't use any cheats, maybe some mods interfered.
