Hi everyone, just to announce that i'm currently in the process of updating the mod.
Stats rebalancing is for the most part, but i'm also planning to do a texture makeover by commissioning an artist. I'll not release the update until everything is done, probably in a month or so.
also theres a new turret(s?)

It super awesome mod but Bro 400+ and 500+ fsx for one 600mm shell is waaaaay too much I changed my xml to ~50 and is a lot better, would propose the same as update

Over in the comments for the non-CE version of this mod, sammyson9 said that the mod is not fully compatible with "SOS2", writing "the naval guns cant shoot over walls making them useless.

Is that true for this version as well? (I'd assume so.)
And, if so, would it be possible to address this?

For everyone who can't wait for a update. Present version works pretty well with 1.4 except all turrets have no firing sound.

And to solve this , you need to change the text of all 5 xml files in the mod folder(generally named by mod ID)\Common\Defs\SoundDefs as below

Change all
<li Class="AudioGrain_Folder"> to <li Class="AudioGrain_Clip">
<clipFolderPath> to <clipPath>
</clipFolderPath> to </clipPath>

Hey so i'm using the GCT 155mm AUF1 and it seems to have terrible accuracy or frankly it seems like it's targeting the wrong place and hitting that place very precisely, but that place is usually off map or hitting a goddamn mountain. gunner level is good too

Just in case anyone wondering, CE renamed all _FMJ cannon ammo to _AP. So this mod currently will give errors about not finding something like "Bullet_20x102mmNATO_FMJ". To fix that untill this mod updated you'll need to create local copy of it and rename all instances of "Bullet_..._FMJ" (Bullet_20x138mmB_FMJ, Bullet_25x137mmNATO_FMJ, ) to "Bullet_..._AP".

IMHO, it would be very good if the shells for the AMC cannons will be removed from machining table (and loading bench) and instead be craftable only in the CNC machine. At the current moment the recipe menus of the table and the bench are cluttered.

Would it be possible to make the cannon ammo craftable only using the CNC machine? Currently they are both craftable at the loading bench and CNC machine. Using other gun mods that add their own ammo can lead to the crafting menu on the loading bench to get a bit cluttered.

@Luke, should work fine behind sandbags and embrasures but idk about big turrets, and i have no idea how to fix it if it doesn't.

Is there a way to make it so that cannons can shoot over cover so that it can be behind sandbags etc?

Also, something is going odd. My shooting 15 guy jumps on the ieigs and suddenly it's giving chance to hit in the 10000's at all ranges and then the shots land nowhere near?
(I'm running in 1.2 for mod compatibility atm.)

should be fixed now, the sieges won't bring any of my turrets, there's still a turret that i havent deleted the Artillery_BaseDestroyer building tag on them.

Another feedback, a 2S1 Gvozdika was built as a artillery piece for siege, which demands power and can't be mannered.

all Artillery pieces counts as mortar varints, so siege build them. The issue here is that sieges don't carry the supposed ammunition, and never fire.
