i was having the same issue with the icons not appearing in-game after the latest update, but i fixed it by switching from An Exhilaratingly Organized Literature Mod to Comically Organised Literature and Media , putting Has Been Read after that mod, and then moving both a lot further down in the mod order. not sure what specific step actually fixed it, but its working for me now.

@Dester only that I can get it to work visually. I can still mark books, but it doesn't show on the UI. Could also be another mod that conficts, but it worked before the patch.

Any known bugs with 42.9.0 and this mod??

auto marking doesn't work...

Hello, author of the Bicycle mod here, if you change the mod load order so that the bicycle comes before Has Been Read then it should work

I just cheaked and it has something to do with [B42] Bicycle!

Dont know much about modding, but something may have broke as all marks besides the vanilla checkmark are not visible. Was working yesterday, and i did not get any error messages. Tried unsubscribing too.

It states, quite clearly in the description above, that if you add the mod in an existing world the books you already have will be marked as not read.

i loaded into the world i already had with it enabled but its not working

Some issues with Inventory ReInvented tho I can't tell if it's removing marks or they just can't be seen in certain stacking/bag situations.

Idea: It would be very nice if we could have a separate mod (or implemented in this) with an option to mark any item ingame like "Has Been Found". I allways forgot which tool for example I already looted and it would be perfect to have a manuel marking option for items

I was using this mod and it worked fine in MP. I did a server wipe, I can check and uncheck books, but the paperclip icon doesn't appear. Could you fix it, please? Or make two versión, one for 41 and other for 42. Thanks!! Great work!!!!

Thanks for the report. I checked the implementation, and it turns out this is a vanilla bug, so it's not something the mod can fix. The issue has already been reported, so we'll just have to wait for the vanilla fix. Thanks for your understanding!

Your mod (along some others) try to write into & consequently create a modOptions.ini instead of the intended ModOptions.ini. This confuses PZ and breaks the mod menu on case sensitive file systems (basically everything but Windows file systems).

Id like to know if you could include, or explain why you cant, marking of novels, books, magazines, and comics. Im trying to collect one of each but dont have a way to mark what ive collected short of reading them all. Would be handy to have. Thanks for the good work either way.

This mod has recently received updates, including compatibility with B42. While I always strive to develop with attention to bugs, it's important to note that no software is entirely free of them. However, this mod currently has over 2.4 million subscriptions, and many users are still actively using it with B41. If there were a significant bug in the mod itself, I would expect a lot more bug reports and comments about it, but this isn't the case. It's very likely that the issue lies with the user’s environment or the Workshop side.

This mod has a very large number of users, and if it does not work at the level you are commenting on, I am sure more similar reports would have been posted. In fact, this is not the case, and I have confirmed again that it works fine on B42, so I think it is a matter of your environment. Please re-subscribe the mods or make sure this mod is enabled correctly.

I rewrote the render logic for Inventory Tetris for performance reasons.
The function Has Been Read used for compatibility is now deprecated and no longer called.

PepeさんのMODいつでも素晴らしいから、ありがとうございます。There is a strange rendering bug recently using inventory tetris with VHS items. The red and green checkmarks will appear in the next grid box below the icon when the item is orientated horizontally. In the vertical position, the checkmarks appear in the same grid box as per design though. It doesn't happen when I only have this mod and Inventory Tetris activitated. I have not been able to isolate which mod conflict caused this but I just want to find out if anyone is also experiencing this.

That is probably a problem on the Steam Workshop side. Sorry for the inconvenience, but please try unsubscripting this mod and then subscripting again.

Yes, that feature is on my TODO list for modding. However, it will have to wait a while longer as other B42 support are taking priority.

Have you considered marking the newly added books, magazines, and comics of B42 together?

The vanilla function and this mod are similar, but the approach is different. Since the concept of my mod is “how quickly can I find books I haven't read”, so I think this mod is useful enough even with B42!
