That is why I stopped feeding it.

Are we going to get an update to 1.5? This music was so good.

I managed to cut down on size of the mod. The trade off is not significant. Most people will not notice a thing.

I made an expansion, and maybe more to follow in the future. I tried to make it more dynamic compared to the base mod, as suggested.

Wow! :lunar2020sweatrat:
I suggest that the Description should mention that this music mod is 2.8 GigaBytes in size. That's... pretty big for a mod! Some people might not bat an eye at consuming so much disk space. But I would!

Mechanos thank you for your inspirational comment.

l thought I should preserve the slow meditative mood of the game. With some of the tracks I feel I went too far already from that approach. I collected some more tracks for another mod, if the size is not an issue I can add them to this instead.

What you suggest is a good idea. I think I can make an expansion. I'm playing with the idea to record music from Commodore Amiga also for a while.... There are lot of good tracks I wanted to use, but I felt they might distract the players attention from the game.

I can't promise a quick progress but I will work on it.

Heya. Wanted to say thanks for this. I have a hard time finding electronic music mods for most games, Rimworld included, and I've been really enjoying this combined with the No Vanilla Music mod. Take my

(also I was able to download it with 0 issues - the corrupted download people are probably on bad wifi or mobile or dial-up xD)

If you are taking suggestions... if you ever continue this or make an expansion, I'd like to suggest some higher BPM songs to break up the mellow? Higher BPM electronic/EDM can be really motivational/fun in games like this, to me at least.

I guess Steam has some ways to deal with that, but thank you to remind me I should stop to adding more tracks. I might upload another mod some day.

I've seen mentions that mods over 800mb can be buggy on download for some people. Corruptions etc.

Sorry, I'm not planning to do so. You can play all the track in game if you turn on debug menu, and select play song. Easy way to decide you like it or not.

You think you could add a way to preview the music before installing?
Ramachandra  [author] Aug 10, 2021 @ 7:13pm
Paladin, you might need to free up some space on the drive where the Steam client is installed. Ccleaner is a good program to get rid of piled up hidden junk in the operating system and, some of the anti virus programs can do it also.

1.5Gb, I cannot download it. Steam crashes for me.

ah ok no worries, thanks for posting the mod :)

The Blind One I agree, It could be convenient, but that goes two ways. Some of the tracks are edited, and some of them from the wast Modarchive, and who is gonna dig into that anyway.

Thank you pgames-food to point it out. It fell out of my radar this track needed fade in and fade out. This was a type of album where there is only transition, no clear start or end.

(5n is 8m19s)

hi there are some nice/interesting tracks here, (a lot could go well with stellaris) but can i check, the file called 5N seems to cut off suddenly (is that meant to happen or is there maybe another 12 seconds or something missing?) :)
The Blind One Jul 14, 2021 @ 10:45am
A youtube/spotify/soundcloud playlist or something would be convenient to sample the additional music and see whether it is to people's liking.
