1. Iridescent Beak Things are Invisible
2. They mostly don't attack, or the player doesn't take any damage from them, can't tell as they are invisible.
3. They make bonedog sounds instead of beak thing sounds.

For anyone interested, I uploaded a small patch to fix the hitbox of the Mire Skin spiders allowing accurate crossbowmen to actually hit their shots. (This is a vanilla game bug, not a fault of the mod). https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3448087758&searchtext=

While I really like this mod for the great textures, it's got a couple of issues in my opinion.

The spawning weights for iridescent beak things feel MASSIVELY overtuned in Shem. The things are EVERYwhere there, to the point that I would feel far safer in the Bonefields. On the rare occasion any bandits spawn they are immediately set upon, and I cannot look in any direction without seeing some of them in the distance.

Also I'm pretty sure that the "Oni gorillo Loner" character entry in FCS is broken - It is set to spawn black gorillos, as opposed to the oni gorillos I imagine it is meant to. I've seen a couple black gorillos in Skinner's Roam, so I get the feeling that oni gorillos just won't ever appear in the world without fixing this.

For anyone else having issues or feeling that spawns are too much/few, the necessary changes in the FCS are very quick and easy. I strongly recommend learning how to use it so you can tweak the mod to your preferences.

Hello, I have a problem with this mod is that when you start with the beginning guy with an oni gorillo, my gorillo's life goes down for no reason and I wanted to know if it is a bug or if it is something about the gorillo, sorry for my English.

With this mod a huge problem appeared in the cities. At least in the bone fields. I have settled in Katun and every minute there are fights between guards and beaked critters under the city. I don't mind the free skin and meat, but some of them run into town and total chaos ensues. Very sad because I have to interrupt the production of wine from your own mod so my workers don't die.
Mod looks great but because of this problem I will play without it for now

Hello everyone, I'm sorry I'm having a very bad health episode this year, I couldn't check my messages for a long time. I'm sorry for the troubles about that bat squad value, I'm updating the mod (The age of a large group was supposed to be 70, which is reflecting on their combat stats but I misstyped 700 instead so ... you can imagin the crazy stats they had in the end). So now it's fixed to 80 since people told me in message it would be cool if they were still strong.

I strongly recommend this mod... with the patch from swiftdeath. Hopefully @Shirohô can roll the 700 age typo fix into the mod with an update at some point, because once the whole (admittedly hilarious) "godzilla landbat swarm of doom" issue is fixed, this is easily one of the best creature additions on the workshop.

yeah the dusk landbat in stobe's gamble is bugged into fuck
sometimes they do spawn like they should but most often they are giant and will stage dive leviathans

The dusk landbat is far too strong. I went over to stobes gamble and the entire area is filled with 300 stat landbats which will clear my elite army of like 40 soldiers by themselves. and they appear in groups of like 5-15. they could beat the entire game at the same time.
i aggroed a single one to tinfist and it cleared the entire city, tinfist, and my entire army without taking damage.

Massive range, plus like 270 dexterity+strength means it will *always* hit first, stagger which means that no melee troop will ever get to hit it and give them no chance to melee, especially considering it hits for like 300 on heavy armor.
reducing it's range significantly would at least give one a chance to get a hit in before you get oneshotted.

I'm gonna take the last comments advice on how to fix it personally but dude holy f**k I appreciate the Bat representation but those need to be fixed ASAP. I didn't die nor get there attention, but I about s**t myself when I saw how big they were, how many they're were and how fast they are... and don't even get me started on the stats. Seriously I love your mods but please fix that ASAP.

To those who wonder how to fix the mod from spawning ginormous Dusk Landbats:

-go to Forgotten Construction Set

-uncheck all beside this mod

-go to "changes"

-search Dusk Landbat swarm that has "SQUAD_TEMPLATE" on them > click it

-change the end of the line of Dusk Landbat on "animals" panel from:
12 22 "700"
to
12 22 "100"

-after that save the mod and then import your game.

(it seems like Shiroho made an error on the percentage while making the mod, welp nobody's perfect i guess, thank you for making this mod!)

I can confirm the Dusk Landbats are well.........in need of a fix. I was leaving flats lagoon and they killed one of my guys quickly and I mean I didn't register that my guy got one tapped until I scrolled to his last position and saw 3 large bats on his body

Everything else is pretty good though, just the bats

Damm, the Dusk Landbats really are broken. They have 70 mph run speed, 1.700 limb health, 220+ stats. They also appear in groups.

For those wondering no, the Dusk Landbats are still... well lets just say I ran into a pack of Leviathan sized Dusk Landbats that killed me in less than second. If you see them take a wide berth and hope you have a save backed up because if they see you, you are dead. It is not fixed... still love the mod though.

Dusk Landbat is an absolutely unbalanced mob in the game. They walk in packs with 200+ statistics

I ran into a giant elder dusk land bat while guarding a caravan sweating bullets until we peacefully passed it, then we stumbled upon 10 of his friends feasting on a leviathan. Even with my op character we were quickly eaten alive before i could shit my pants lol. I was admittedly laughing my ass off but it was an instant game ender. Id definitely agree with Loki a few comments down in that this is probably a typo or something with their age and not intentional. i hope this gets fixed soon but i do love the mod.

Dusk Land Bat swarm still has a typo. a It's set to age 700 rather than 70 for members of the swarm. So now they're not human models, but they're still huge, have 250 stats, thousands of hit points, and can't be hit. Switching it to 70 fixed it for me.

@Batzorig Vaanchig Woah ! My face when I ran into it haha, it was somekind of attack on titan shit. I'm onto the problem mate, thanks for the report ! And don't worry it just seems like a small omission i did on the race data, nothing serious. Although it will need a re-import of your game to be fixed because that data is too close to core variable declarations, sorry about this inconvenience. Mod is close to be finished and stable, sit tight and keep reporting if you see anything off.

I had an issue with dusk landbats, they spawned in with a hugely upscaled human texture and no animations and to top it off they had ridiculous stats like 250 str, dex etc., what may have caused the problem? All other animals from the mod that i've seen had their proper textures.

This is exciting!! I wont import my game so ill have to miss out on the new Azure crab but I'm psyched about this new mod anyways! Especially the idea of a crab bag, hopefully will work for vanilla crab too :3
