too many luxuries are spawning even when selecting sparse resources option in game editor.

the biggest issue with this mod is that it makes harbor starts too op. too many luxuries spawn from this. beware of MP inbalance.

If you can't find on map any of the luxury ressources, I advise getting read of mods changing the default map size (among other things)

Tried to remove all other mods, verify the game files and still nothing. I guess this mod only works for some people. Maybe new installs are bugged, and old ones work. Either way its not working for me.

I've never seen Caviar, coral, abalone, or stingrays in any of my games.
Do they spawn a lot less frequently than the other resources?

Also seals, dyes, and squid seem to spawn at such a high rate that i barely see any other resources.

Using both Khia and Cyberhawk's adjustments successfully reduces the amount of luxuries generated. Thank you both for fixing this mod!

- 摩天轮:无更改

海豹:奖励资源;+1生产力;生成在海岸或海藻上。
鱿鱼:奖励资源;+1食物、+1金币;生成在海岸、海藻或礁石上,较少见。
鲑鱼子:豪华资源;+3金币;只会生成在湖泊中。
珊瑚:豪华资源;+1文化点数;只会生成在礁石上。
龙虾:豪华资源;+1科学点数;生成在海岸、海藻或礁石上。
染料:豪华资源;+1信仰点数;生成在海岸或者是 海藻 上
鲍鱼肉: 贵重商品; + 1 食物, + 1 黄金; 在沿岸, 海草 或 珊瑚 上产卵.
黄貂: 贵重商品; + 1 生产力, + 1 黄金; 在 沿 岸 或 海草 上孵化.

Editing the Local iScore seems to make the ocean luxuries a bit less clustered, but i haven't found a proper solution.

I changed it from

local iScore = (iWeight^0.666) * (6 - iNearby) * 0.1666 * 100

to

local iScore = (iWeight^0.666) * (3 - iNearby) * 0.1666 * 100

@cyberhawk that helped alot, brought down the water luxuries back to vanilla levels. Thanks for the solution.

But Its worth mentioning that Luxuries still clump up weirdly and arent as spread out as they are in vanilla (atleast the ocean ones).

For anyone else having the "way too many luxuries" issue,

In the file Suk_ResourceGenerator.lua

change the following line:

iTargetOccurences = math.floor(iTargetOccurences + 0.5)

to

iTargetOccurences = math.floor(iTargetOccurences/2 + 0.5)

我发现在地图生成器界面选择这个模组,可以正常生成地貌和资源。但是保存后再次读取资源就会消失。我认为地图生成器加载地图时默认是关闭所有模式的。通过修改Sukritact's Oceans.modinfo文件,将其中所有的<Criteria>Suk_Oceans_Rework</Criteria>语句删去,可以做到不选择模式也可以加载地貌和资源。

I found that selecting this module in the map generator can generate terrain and resources well. But after save, load the resource will disappear. I think the map generator defaults to turning off all modes when loading maps. By modifying the "Sukritatt's Oceans.modinfo" file and removing all "<Criteria>Suk_Oceans_Rework</Triteria>" statements, it is possible to load terrain and resources without selecting a mode, so as save and reload.

Resources, specifically luxuries, are almost completely broken in this mod. It spawns way too many luxuries on 'standard', and sometimes spawns none on 'sparse'.

Maatissi, the same happened to me. It only won't work in World Builder, in game it does, unless I use custom maps, This is very messed up.

I only had bonus resource sea tiles like fish,crab, seals and squid. and there were still kelp forests and everything so I know the mod was working somewhat

started an archipelago map game with this mod and no sea/ocean luxuries were in my game not even vanilla/base game ones. anyone else having this issue?

Anyone have an issue with way too many Luxuries spawning? I just had a pangea game where almost every lake tile had a Luxury on it.

and I fired up another quick one and did the same thing. Lobsters and abalone were all over the coast. Seems to work with me. This time I tried it with Urban Identities and a few other mods that make small changes.

Just an observation - I'm totally new to using mods but I've been trying out a whole host of things today. I've read many comments that the luxury spawns are not working. I uninstalled all mods except for this one, fired up a quick game and sent my scout around the coast for a few minutes and found both pearls and whales - so I'm guessing it does work still?

No, I can confirm that Sukritact's Oceans is not applicable to saved games. This and Sukritact's Resources will apply only to new games if these mods are installed and activated beforehand. Moreover, for some reason, when you start a new game, Sukritact's Oceans (but not Resources) must be selected as one of the Game Modes.
