Stupid question... Im trying to make a flight scene, and is there any way you can hide or cover up the floor? I understand if you can't, I'll just use a bit of camera trickery if that is the case. Btw, great skybox!

this might be just me, but when i use the night map, adding light makes the skybox white, and when i disable shadows it turns back to normal. is there a fix?

I can't find it

It was many different "rain" particles from TF2 and half life. But now Someone made me a "heavy rain" particle that works on the map so that's solved.

@The Mad Demoknight - Do the particles work on other maps? can you tell me which particle system you used exactly?

@Dunkle - i just checked, everything looks fine to me. Can you give me an example what exactly is too shiny? maybe your bloomsclae is just too high?

Can you please fix the reflections on the night map? They are way more shiney than they should be.

For some reason I can't get particles to work in the night map. I'm trying to a rainy poster with the "rainstorm" particle, but It doesn't show up. I've tried the fixes, but they don't work either.

@Stari [TC] i posted a workaround for that in the comments below, otherwise you'd need to change the floor yourself in the hammer-editor. But using the texture-panels works really well.

open one of the maps in SFM, look up the name of the skybox you want to ouse ( for example sky_rainbow_01), then type "sv_skyname sky_rainbow_01" into the console (without the quotes).
