@Winterson, i understand you completely and believe me: If the game were built in a way that allow more control over audio triggering, you can bet i would balance exactly like you suggested, but the ingame logic don't differ a little spider from a horde of 10 or more barbarians with battleaxes. The switches are "normal" and "Elite" enemy trigger events only.

As for vanilla music getting mixed within the mod, that's a new report, i'll look into it to confirm if any recent updates messed with the mod.

Great mod, exactly what i was looking for! But i wonder is there a way to make battle music only playing in boss fights or with elites, because it looks a bit silly sometimes when you fight one spider and this grand epic music starts playing. Also noticed that background music is sometimes mixed with vanilla. Thanks for your work!

Put the mod near to the bottom of the mod list.

@smilydeth , Please re-check your settings. I just tested the mod and despite main menu music (for obvious reasons), the mod is working fine with Age of War Chapter 3.

not working except for during battles

Just compiled a new .pak and it seems there's no fix yet. This time, funcom REALLY screwed things over to the point even official servers are with mismatch and/or offline.

and our dedicated server (nitrado) restarts constantly with this mod's id inserted. every other mod works save this.

@Obsolete @Darth Moxy @BakTheSloth: That's odd, the mod works well on my end. Are you guys sure you´re not venturing too far north or east? These are biomes i could not add music so far.

@Sonja Babs: Modders don't have access to Siptah map, as far as i know. The Siptah assets, in the other hand, can be added to Exiled Lands, but not the other way around.

Music sets are restricted to biomes. In updates, i kept a strict report of where they were added or changed. Fertile Lands is the further north i managed do add music so far. The remaining not mentioned areas are untouched.

I can confirm that. My server uses Exiled Lands map, while combat music works and sounds great, music in main menu works - there is no ambient music in the northern parts of the map. It seems to work along noob-river well, but the further north you travel the less likely you are to get any ambient music at all.

Ok, if that can help you, I tested. So I have 2 Conan combat musics, but unfortunately no "ambience musics" when you travel landscape for example

The Destroyer soundtrack is yet to be implemented to remaining areas.

For unreal assets, all source materials should be converted to WAV format. I used high quality 320 Kbps 48000 Hz high Fidelity Audio in my editions.

If you want to try, I'll send you the original ORIGINAL of conan 1982. I think that this soundtrack is better for conan exiles, as the soundtrack from 1985 was made to be a more heroic fantasy/less reflexive film, with a Conan who is just a barbarian who make jokes all around the film. Conan exiles is not this (for me at least)
