@lokki pink box means missing texture. There is no texture for children since they never existed until now. No bug, mod just doesn't support children for right now.

@Victor i made a ideology where the eltex bodysuit is the preferred apparel and children that are generated spawn as a weird pink box

What is the children bug? Children cannot wear anything that was not specifically made for them, so this mod is working fine, isn't that right? @Lokki

it should work with 1.4 even tho it says wrong version but if it doesnt ill try to fix it eventually. doing university exams atm so not much free time

i can tell you how to make it use eltex in the recipe, however using it as the main material makes no sense due to how eltex works

and i couldnt test if my "patch" works at all without having psycasts installed because trying to remove it broke my game beyond repair and id have to reinstall,
so it'd be great if someone else can try what happens when you add non existing materials to a recipe

im expecting red errors but maybe the game can cope enough to not die and let it be crafted without the material

Eltex can't be a primary material, IIRC - it's not its role.

It could be added in addition to the primary material - doing so is really easy, I'm sure - but the coding required to make it optional so VPE isn't a requirement is likely notably harder.

how exactly would you even connect this and vanilla expanded psycasts, what else would it do other than increase the sensivity, heat etc. stats which it already does

yeah look id love to but idk how to make complex mods, i just made a texture and used if for a combination of the vanilla apparel expanded jumpsuit and copied over the stats of the royalty eltex shirt. thats all i know how to do. linking it into vanilla expanded psycasts is beyond my skill

I don't see why it wouldn't work with VEP - it won't require Eltex to craft or lean on its research projects, but psychic sensitivity and neural heat offset works the same way.

this stuff works suprisingly well as armor, pants and shirts have 20% multiplier but this thing has 50%

Your mode is really good.
But before, when I used this mode, there was an eltex bodysuit in the study.
But now I can't see any research or production.
It says production is possible, but I couldn't see it at all.
Did you disable research and production?

First, Great mod, thank you! While theres no compatibility issues, it would be cool if you added some sort of cross compatibility with this mod using its craftable Eltex for immersion sake. It can be crafted from various materials, that's what "stuffable" means.

It seems to work in 1.3. But the bodysuit has very little effect on pawn temperature tolerance. Even legendary hyperweave bodysuits barely offer any protection from hot or cold environments.

Can comfirm it works in 1.3. Tested a colony out in ideology that had this as favored apparel, worked just fine.

I'm a bit of a mod noob myself, but patchwork is relatively easy. Anyone who reads the wiki could learn it.
Here I've done the patchwork for my suggestions: https://pastebin.com/Rc9UKfuC and I've added some redundant commenting for teaching purposes.

I took a closer look at the mod Skorpior mentioned, It doesn't actually add any new research projects. It just adds Eltex as a Stuff/material. So no need for patchwork here, unless they wanted Eltex to replace a portion of the recipe.

@halley I appreciate the interest but all of that is a bit beyond my skill. This is literally the first mod I've ever made and most of the code was just copy pasted from the vanilla game. I could try to balance it better but making patches for other mods is not something i know how to do

There is also the Psy-Eltex mod, that adds meditation gain to eltex gear, a patch that looks for that mod and then adds meditation gain to the jumpsuit would be great. I suggest 3-4%.

For Skorpior's compatibility request, my interpretation is that he would want a patch that looks for that mod and then changes the research to that mod's research instead or a new project that comes after that research.

A suggestion I would add myself is a patch that looks for both VGP Garden Fabrics and VGP Garden Fabrics Simplified and then changes the Plasteel Requirement to be 100 Plasteel Thread instead (VG_PlasteelThread). (That is effectively the same amount of Plasteel in total)

I really like this!
I have some balancing feedback (based on my personal opinions):
- While it doesn't visibly cover the 'Neck' bodyPartGroups, its still normal for this type of apparel to do so
The closest thing I would compare this to, statswise, is Vanilla Expanded Apparel's Jumpsuit and Military Uniform
- Your current StuffEffectMultiplierArmor is 0.46, theirs is 0.32 and 0.36 respectively. Even with the plasteel I would recommend scaling the factor down to between 0.36 and 0.4.
- Your insulation multipliers for cold/heat are a surprisingly low 0.05, and theirs is 0.3/0.2 and 0.22/0.2 respectively. Comparatively their T-Shirt and Tank Top have 0.22/0.1 and 0.1/0.22 respectively. I would recommend scaling yours up to between 0.15/0.1 and 0.3/0.2.

no other mods are required, it can be built out of any leather/cloth material, which includes archomatter from that mod

@Estredar Yes. Stuffable means that you can make it out of a resource of your choice, like how you can make a wall out of either wood, bricks, steel, uranium etc. So Archotech Garbage is obviously not required.
