I didn't notice that I wrote "Victor" with a "k" several times. Well, it happens.
Flirts with the secretary - is surprised that she demands attention.
Sets up all his friends for a raid (Patriarch) - yells at Yugov for killing Viktor.
Why did I gently pass over Yugov in my tirade? Because he is the only character in the plot that I felt sorry for. A consistent plan to eliminate the top, personal interest, determination to go over heads - a normal character within the plot.
Most of all I chuckled when Yugov separately notes that Viktor agreed, and the plan to eliminate Starostin itself partially belonged to Gleb, and this same bald idiot begins to call him a traitor and at the finish line of executing THEIR plan betrays Yugov, after which he continues to kill people on the orders of a man who openly worked with Nesterenko. A separate joke of the situation is that Gleb, whose ego is one of the most frequently touched upon topics in the plot, uses the word "ego" in relation to Yaroslav.
Interesting emotions, to be honest.
Kedrov is an idiot who sent Gleb to save Yugov, knowing full well that the latter's survival is not in his interests (and his explanation does not clarify anything). Twice an idiot for trying to attack Gleb with a knife at the moment when the parties began to negotiate.
Efim is a degenerate and a weakling who calmly reacted to Kedrov's execution, Viktor's death and Yugov's murder and continued communicating with Gleb.
Yugov convinces Cherenkov to shoot Kedrov, but after the latter's death he starts to get hysterical that it is too early and unnecessary.
A separate point - the main character, flat and single-vector (Like, in fact, a shovel handle).
Criticizes Stalin for the purges - during the entire campaign he cuts out a three-digit number of people.
Doubts the need to rob the Lubyanka for Starostin's documents - again brazenly goes there for Nesterenko's documents.
Ruthlessly executes Kedrov - runs around like a dog under Starostin.
The most interesting thing is the plot.
Watery text. Not bad, but overloaded.
We can spend a decent amount of time talking about what is wrong with the characters' motivations and the logic of their actions, but now I am interested in the following moments:
1. I was particularly struck by the scene at the junction of the Patriarch and the Facsimile.
2. But first, I will point out the most ridiculous examples of thoughtlessness of the characters in the plot, in my opinion.
Victor, an Orthodox Christian, signs up for a mission to kill his fellow citizens without any hesitation.
Nesterenko reminds me of a picture with a Chihuahua "50% hate/50% shaking", but at the same time he is presented as almost the main evil of Moscow.
First impressions, maybe I'll make a more detailed text later. Minor and major lexical errors are possible.
Obvious points:
The music is good, but in half the cases the difference between the mood of the song and the context of what is happening is noticeable.
For example, Patriarch - a suicide mission with limited resources from cornered criminals under quite relaxed and melancholic music. And yes, a 4-5 minute fragment is also out of place due to excessive aggressiveness.
Father's cameo is questionable.
Complaints about the non-obviousness of obstacles have already been written here. For me personally, the problems were the hanging lamps on Addict and the stands on the first floor of Facsimile.
I can't say anything about the difficulty. Adequately, I suppose.
The choice of Richter for "repainting" in "We have Release at home" (aka Abducted) with his slow interaction with firearms is questionable.
The animation of the finishing blow with a fist is quite strange.
I uh. Just don't like the word choices from time to time. Takes me out I gotta say.
12/10
For those unaware, I put myself back together and released the Gang 2 Gopniks featured in this very campaign 2 years later!
