@Amicus You can spawn it in a creative RE2 game and install any RE2 equipment you want. Then you save it with a slightly different name and spawn it in a RE2 game. Congratulations you made yourself a Solaris station for RE2.:steamthumbsup:

@10saketh Seems you reached the workshop blueprint subscription limit. You have to unsubscribe from other blueprints for this to appear in blueprint factory.

Do NOT spawn this in HWS RE2 it will explode!
I spawned in creative RE scenario and it was fine had no issues, but when I spawned it on server it exploded before I got into it to turn power off.
Partly my fault as I was messing around with my ship before entering the station, so had no idea there was something wrong and as I had tested it already, I wasn't expecting anything to go wrong.
If you do spawn it in, turn power off immediately! and go from there.

@ToyTen There are two ways to do creative in RE2
1. start a new game and select creative at the beginning after selecting the RE2 senario.
2. In your RE2 survival game use console command: changemode. WARNING do not save your game or engage in battles in creative mode.
use changemode again to switch back to survival and then save. You will want to save your template before changing modes.

I dock to my base all the time. You just can't dock if you have anything else docked to the CV (CV,SV,HV). Like a single ship docking to a carrier. If you have a SV in your CV then it will not allow you to dock. You move the SV to the base then the CV will dock to the base.

one issue with repair console...sometimes its happens repairing stops cause player is inside box.
however placed the repair console downside, nice station and with the modulus enogh space to turn into pentaxid farm.

The ability of a CV to dock on a base has been removed from the game for years now.

I've run into 2 issues recently. I assume are do to game updates. The first is that the Helios modules don't dock to the station in RE. The second is power fluctuations. Anyone else having these issues?

@Captain Mack No. The "..until now" means maybe it will in the future. I think they prevented it because it would be used as an exploit on multiplayer games.

The Plutos M2 module does not dock at the stations port that appears to be meant for it. I suppose I don't really need it to but just curious as to why? Both ship and station are same faction and the ship docks to the Helios just fine.

When I added the extra solar panels there is a bug where you have to select the proper slope then change off and reselect the slop again to make it air tight. If you dont they will be slightly off and then you lose all the O2 in the station.

@Constantine the Great No issue with o2 here. Also used the debug oxygen show and every part of the station looks finely oxygenated.

Maybe a bit late. But i can't get oxygen to flow around the base. Currently oxygen only reaches the engineer bay and the module deck. Any idea? O2 is full, ventilators in every room and the power is on.

Thank you Booyaah and Spray_Fart! @Booyaah, Making a space station out of concrete is a good idea no doubt. I didn't on this one because the concrete textures wouldn't look right on this station and the look it was going for. But, it would have been a better material to make it out of. It was purely for cosmetic purposes to build it with steel. And thanks again all!

Any chance you can make some space stations out of mostly concrete? I get tons of stone from mining, it's way stronger than steel, and the heavier mass doesn't matter since it's a BA not a CV

Sin might I recommend a small change to your station? Instead of orientating the top add a "solar satellite" below (like jrandall suggested)? Then patch the holes with steel block. Like this (with Zeno blocks for that "energy beam" look): https://imgur.com/a/x2h5mxK

and attempted to dock a modual to station and wouldnt do the landing gear click. or station has to be out of orbit? or is it more they land and just float next to station?

Thank you Ripley, RvnHawk, Sin, and Xaton! @Sin, it could be tricky. Not the optimal solar panel layout, but no other setup would work with the shape unless adding a large extension arm to hold the panels at the bottom. But that also had its set of problems mainly being upping the size class of the station. @Xaton, Please check out the link at the top of the post, Helios-MSC Modules. It is a collection of Helios Modules by many authors. Most will work on this, well all standard modules and dropship types. I didn't add a individual list to this post as there are a lot modules. It better to have them in a collection instead. Thanks again all!

Thank you kjolnir, and Commander Pappy (dew1960)! @Commander Pappy (dew1960), not really at this size for ground base. The closest creation I have would be the Waypoint Hangar which is pretty big and has some production and defense too. I don't know how the CPU is on it at the time thou as it is pretty old, but a similar style to this station sort of. Thanks again all!

Yeah I just edited the game config file like Alex mentioned and was able to max the station out just fine. Great BP, really love it!

Thank you kjolnir and Alex Ringess! @kjolnir, I wish vanilla also had a solar panel count of 24. The station was meant for that but only works in RE. The 15 count in vanilla is a odd count which doesn't work out using the maximum nicely especially for a solar set up like this. @ Alex Ringess, great info and thanks!

If you want you also can copy/past the whole SolarPanelBlocks section on the Config.ecf and make these change there so it will not be erased at each EGS updates ^^
