Hey Neuman, I can say with a large degree of confidence that you are running another mod that inteferes with my mod. Any mod that has anything to do with "units" is interfering with this mod. This mod is not compatible with any mod that intefere with vanilla units.

Why is this a problem? How do I know?
Well the reason is that CA made one file for a list of all units, there is more than one of these files, but any mod that does anything to units uses the same file and cause the crash. I know you are running a mod that interferes because I systematically and manually changed EVERY fucking unit in the vanilla game ^_^

So sorry for you truble. To my defence, the mod you are using is just as compatible as my mod ;)

Hey! I used to use this mode years ago, for like 5 min . Now i did download it. And i see the same problem. Horse units are fucked up. 160 man in one squad BUT only 80 horses. 2\3 man are siting on one horse. When you dismount them game crushes. But within planing time you can dismount them and mount again, them u'll see that theres no place(horses) for like 80 units so they remain dismounted.

Did you try adjusting unit size in the main menu? It should be fully possible. If you set unit size to small you would get close to what you are asking for.

Cavlary and General has some bugs, 3 or 2 man on 1 horse. Legion cavlary stiil have 80 horses but 160 man sit on it !! :steamfacepalm:

My advice with units with 2 ships is to automate any battle where the AI have to land its ships. The rest of battles with units with multiple ships, is something that can be managed, but with a little difficulty.

If Creative Assembly (CA) would fix the AI when it comes to multiple ship units landing bug or make it possible for extra troops to come out of the ship hull, there would have been no problem. But there is no reason to belive that CA will fix it.

Im sorry that there is no other work around at this point.

The biggest ship can take 238 soldiers at most.

If a unit has more soldiers than 238 and is placed on the biggest ship, the rest of the troops will not be on the ship, they would not have a position on the battlemap, but they would still count as alive on the battlemap.

So if a unit of 600 soldiers is placed on 1 ship, 362 of the soldiers would not be on the ship. They have no position on the map, but would still count in the battle as alive. This is a problem because:
After 238 of the guys for example died, or the ship was destroyed with all the soldiers on board, the unit would have 238 less guys in it, but it would still be alive because of the remaining 362 guys and your stuck with a unit that wont die/rout.
