if I remember correctly that is indeed the fuel tank. Nothing else should be entering that line. I can't think of any reason for it to become overpressurized, since it has its own dedicated fuel line from Filtration, and the filtration units are IC-controlled to shut off when the consumable filters are too worn out for safe use. I never put any kind of pressure regulator on that tank because I felt it highly unlikely for it to ever be an issue.

I guess if you're really worried about it, I'd suggest putting an active vent pointing outside, and connect it to the fuel line (shutting it off at Filtration with the valves first) to dump the tank and line. Make sure it's an ACTIVE vent; a passive vent will let atmosphere in and contaminate the system.

Fantastic...can't thank you enough. A great entry point back into the game after a 3 year hiatus! One question: The orange tank in the refinery (presumably fuel?) has a pressure gauge and nothing else attached.

For some reason, the pressure shot up almost into the red recently. What could cause this / is this normal or OK / anything I can do to bring the pressure back down? There appears to be a volumetric pump in, but I haven't taken the system apart (too useful) to see what else might be going on...
