Okay, I apologize for the outburst. Life got in the way.

Now, with the changes to several items, I derped with the station, so next update will feature rather heavy nerfs to both the upgrades and recipes.

Okay, guys. Please make sure you clear the whole vault. It all begins with simply visiting the Terraforge.

A future update is going to further simplify the process by moving a few lootpools and changing up a few radio messages. With this mod, you really need to pay close attention.

Step 1. Craft the Aperture at the Terraforge, which requires the frame and base, both found in Challenge rooms.

maybe I'm dum, but how do I upgrade the well to tier 3? I saw you spoke about an update to help guide the player more, but (assuming that update is out) I feel like some things still aren't very clear. I got very stuck on how to find orothaum, only figuring it out via the comments here, and now there's just no upgrade button to see what I need for tier 3 and the codex for the suspension frame, unless I'm missing something, only seems to say what you can do with it at tier three, not how to actually get it to tier three.

prod-saturnorb is the same as Superbia
prod-trimurti was to replace Vishnu, and now that it has made a return, it'll simply feel like a copy.
prod-z has been revamped to Cloister
prod-perfectkhaos is the same as Avyssos.

Remember, a LOT of item ids were changed over the years. They're not gone, just remade.

If you feel like something of mine was missing, you now know why.

Okay, there's something I've always suspected but couldn't confirm until I found some old backup files...

There's some items from this mod that I used to love but they are gone now!

Yes.

The keys themselves had their item ids changed. They are now codices instead of materials.

Oh, that's great! Hmmm I think something happened though, I had a lot of "keys" that turned into perfectly generic item, I got scared for a second but I think it's because of this update

I'm not sure if I found the correct thing because I have many mods, but I got a "Collatse Aperture" - A machine that brings ideas into reality - and I think it belongs to this mod. What am I supposed to do with this? It seems like it just has 3 input slots and 1 output slot, but I have absolutely no idea what to put in. I don't know what to do.

okay so after futzing around with the mod for a while? overall it's a pretty interesting revamp to the old system. honestly my only nitpick is just me wishing that there was more of a proper guide to show what keys and materials are specifically used to produce whatever weapons are available.

Look in the core of every planet, same as Core Fragments, and if you see a white glow surrounding black, that's Esoquartz. It splits into one or two of the three ores.

okay so i've been futzing about with the new things within this mod and i am honestly completely lost... i've been trying to find where the 3 main ores koichi asks for are but i haven't had any luck with trying to find where they are and have zero idea as to where i should start looking.

It's a microdungeon. Look for the Hive Subbiome. They are a lot more common there.

Is there an easier way to get Orothaum than the dungeons on midnight planets? ^^; I've scoured at least 12 planets looking for it and haven't found anything. I'm guessing it's a microdungeon from the other stuff you said, though? If it were a big dungeon it would be a lot easier to find.

Ore Transmutation at that level will work a lot like Terraria's shimmer.

Not at the moment, but this is a good idea. I'll add a few conversion recipes to the Aperture.

That said, it does require the T2 version to make Esoquartz in the first place, so I will put those recipes at T2.

Esoquartz generates in veins of only one to two, but it glows white.

Also, if you're playtesting, there's a discussion for that. Let's move it to there.

@Prodigy I suspect that if I don’t grind it deliberately, I won’t be able to get all the parts for the altar even in the late game.Maybe add the weapon tooltips on next update ?that will be awesome

It was kind of the intent. The mod's content begins with the early game, but it doesn't take effect until the late game.

@Prodigy fine.you make stuff much more difficult to grind. took me 70+ challenge door to accquire the whole two pieces of The Chaos Altar. drop 3 body and 1 bottom in total .almost drives me crazy :angry_yeti:

Abandoned Labs are semi-rare structures. You need to scour a bunch of Midnight planets to find them.

1. Cal is listed as a human.
2. He doesn't give quests or any sort of tasks. His sole purpose in the mod is to act as a tutorial NPC, kinda like that receptionist in the intro if you interact with her.
