No worries! I think it's just TBOI being weird. Fullscreen seems to introduce some issues with Reshade, I've crashed switching to it while reshade was running.

I will try the latest reshade version next time to be sure, but i don't see a reason for an issue.

I was dealing with some unrealted issues with my game so i did a fresh install, and now the mod doesn't work at all, I get a microsoft c++ error when the preset loads, what could i be doing wrong now?

This looks great! Nice work. I really disliked the ingame Filter but this reshade is amazing.

Also you can try to uncheck/disable these effects, they are not really nescessary... :

FilmGrain

Maybe it's Ambient Light that can be heavy... I didn't really thinked about it because i have a good PC and i can just put everything on without problem.

I will make an update maybe with a "lighter preset", but at the risk people getting more confused...
I'd like also to provide a version without color correction, grain filter ect...

Your PC should be very weak? The effects should not be so heavy...

You can try to check the "performance" box at the right botom if i remember well?

this mod is really cool! its sad that atleast for me the framerate drops signifigantly but this is really impresive

Dude, I turned all the other mods off (disabling them one by one but not disabling the mods to the fullest), then I did everything said in these instructions, but whenever I try to press home, the game just doesn't react and in the end closes whether I press home or not. How do I fix this?

maybe it tries to record the game but reshade affects rendering layer on top of the game, not in the game itself and then that messes up how it records it, so try recording the whole monitor instead?

Is there a technical reason why recording software like OBS has trouble recording with this on? It violently flashes between not and shaded.

the reshade applies in the last "layer" of the screen, so youll always see the reshade on top of everything (including mods)

I don't see exactly what your talking about... sorry.
But this mod come with all the reshade files you need!
If you fallow the instructions, you will see to just copy files where they need to be, and there is multiples possibility provided.
Even if my preset was the better for smoothing pixel i think... not talking about color corrections ect, it's at your own taste!
I may have just forget/skipped one, don't remember his exact name, but it was the baddes of all, so i didn't really bother with it...
Also, my instructions say to just take all the effects possible when installing reshade. For the ones important and missing, i provided them.

Is it possible to provide a link for the specific reshade files that are required for install? The first result on google came up with another mod with the same name

I'm just compiling bunch of effects, select the best then adjust them.
I'm not able to create my own filter, i just found this .fx file online.
Hope i will find better one day?

I really like the concept of this, but every time I use it, it rubs me the wrong way. I've concluded this has something to do with how soft all the lines are. If you intend on actually refining this mod I'll keep an eye on its progress but I'm not super stokes on its current state.

For those who have problems : Read this commentary section, ask if you need help, or add me as friend and we willl see.

So when you press you'r "home" key a panel will pop on the left.
After the mini tutorial is done and you have selected the "ISAAC" profile on the top, you should see a list of bunch of effects with "checkboxes" at the left of their names.

Just try to un-check/re-check them one by one to try/see their effects. (just on those already checked, you can skipp the others)
Then, just be free to don't check again those you don't like

Well, there seems to be one problem. Comparing to your screenshots, my render is REALLY blurry. It seems like some shader isn't working.
