Also maybe decrease the base influence income and increase the faction influence income. Right now factions are a nice increase but it never really get's that high. Maybe make the influence from factions actually worth getting.

I have had at least 10 leaders assassinated by the Pacifists in the last few in game years and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it.

1. Can you shift ethics using this mod? I'm curious, since the option to do so isn't present in the factions menu anymore.

2. Does performing a "radical round-up" actually do anything? From what I've seen, all it does is lower your ideological purity, and doesn't seem to affect the number of radical pops in your empire.

3. Does ideological Purity have a function yet, and if so, what does it affect? I'm assuming it's in development as of now since it doesn't seem to affect anything.

Really hoping the assassinations get addressed on the stable branch - there's wayyyy too many leaders being assassinated by otherwise insignificant factions.

had 6 rulers assassinated in the span of half a year

Yeah it felt imbalanced, I've since addressed this in the mods beta linked above.

To your point about one pop faction being mega desperate: yeah, thats the intended design. You lead a radical government in their opinion, and they are desperate for change. Should it wipe your government that frequentyly? No. Tweaks are happening all the time.

how does a faction containing 1 pop manage to murder 3 governors, 2 scientists, my faction ruler and cause a riot by itself, without support from anyone but the 1 pop itself, while the entire roaster of my another rules are on self-deletion watch by substance abusing

I have ha 3 rulers in a row assassinated by fanatics now. Not a complaint, just an observation. Also an awful lot of leaders seem to go bankrupt.

I think to confront the god queen is not such a good idea. maybe make exceptions for imperial cult that the ruler cannot be in some events i mean you are confronting a deity =D

Hmm, the word Traditionalist is the variable name for the Spiritualist faction. It doesn't show up anyway other than the tooltip.

A way we might address this is by adding ethic icons in text, or by calling Traditionalists the Spiritualist faction everywhere they are mentioned. The problem with calling them spiritualist everywhere is that the text becomes repetative, eg "The spiritualists of the Spiritualist Faction the Happy Spiritualists"

Can you make a version for dumb people like me. i sometimes do not understand which faktion is what in events. the names seem not to add up for me. can you not just say the ethic of the factions or in () behind it? for example it says traditional but i have spiritualist and xenohbob both is fitting that but i am to dumb to understand the context. :stress:

So, add an event where instead of couping, they pick a random planet nearby(occupied or no) and move 60% of that ethics pops (granted they aren't enslaved) to that planet along with a percentage of your fleet power equivalent to that factions ruler pop count over the total pop count. The idea would be that not all people decide to leave, and the rebels should represent a portion of your total defacto fleet power, not alloy production or cap because of their citizen representation in the ruler strata. If they really are upstart weaklings then fine, crush them.

This mod and the Civil Wars mod seem like they would really benefit both from a Compatability patch or even a collaboration between the authors. I love the ideas of making internal politics matter, since it really spices up the gameplay.

Each faction in this mod broken into three factions government, normal, and radicals. If you were to include ethics and civics, then factions will not be created correctly, and militancy wont be added etiehr. It will essentially not work.

Essentially rebellion would be a pasttime, anyone exhibiting negative brainwaves towards the state are swiftly identified and subdued. governments with power, dosent matter what facade they have (democracy fascism communism) they are all the same at their bear bones in the end, states with power only obtain more power, unless the species you have has NO ego whatsoever, which would make no sense to WHY they want to colonize and go to war.... the state will always be like this in the end.
