Sorry for that, fixed it already.
Interestingly enough, no, it also lacks the same file. I've messed around a bit more with Vasikle's version, and found that the mod also runs into a similar problem when ran solely by itself alongside HIP: https://i.imgur.com/14oluSy.png (this should be the cross patonce between four martlets on azure rather than the rainbow)
Running the default Patrum Scuta mod alongside Vasikle's technically fixes the issue, but breaks the shields themselves by making them oversized and adds wrong landed title CoAs - which makes sense, seeing that the original Patrum Scuta is not compatible with HIP.
Trying the same tactic again with your mod again, I can't seem to replicate the same success I had earlier, so I'm not quite sure what went right. I'll keep fiddling with it a bit to see if anything works.
@PBJ
That's interesting. Do you know if Vasikle's version have the file?
I probably used the ARKO/HIP files for those, as I merged this mod with HIP at some point. But it should read them anyway unless you use another mod that overwrites those files.
@Nilserich
@zlatky
yeah, well, known issue on Paradox/Steam side. All subscribed mods for CK2 above some random number are stored in steam temporary mods folder, ie.:
"[DRIVE]:\Steam\userdata\[STEAM ID]\ugc\referenced".
I know it's been a minute, but for anyone having a similar problem, run this mod alongside the vanilla Patrum Scuta mod. This mod does not modify the "dynasties" document in the /common folder, the one that assigns CoAs to each house, which results in randomized or odd CoAs.
Read the description, please. Also show me what you at exactly and be more polite, and maybe I'll try to help you.
oh mate, I can't remember those things anymore, but you'd have to not use the SWMH module as well, I reckon. Either way, I compared each duplicate between Patrum Scuta and ARKO and, as stated above, "selected better ones (as in: more historically plausible or just better looking/more detailed)"
So I wonder what is the proper way to do this?
