@DonJulan can you send me the file
DonJulan Jan 26 @ 2:57am
I repaired two missing (Polkarios and Tribuno) - if you want the file let me know in the comments of any of my trade mod versions (I will get notified) - I can send it via @. Regarding Dulo (all blue) and Salihi (all green) it was made on purpose - otherwise there would have been a "black" one as other two had.

Just wanted to say, still here in 2024 and appreciating this mod!
Fruitgeris Nov 17, 2024 @ 2:13pm
No worries, I really like this mod since ive always playing with PS so I appreciate you modding it :D
Radanos  [author] Nov 11, 2024 @ 2:01pm
Thanks for the insight guys. I will take care of this, but I can't do it right now.
Fruitgeris Nov 11, 2024 @ 8:25am
same with the Tribuno family of Venice in 867
Fruitgeris Nov 2, 2024 @ 5:42am
yo, as the dude said below the Polkarios family is completely black still, are you going to update it soon? I really like this mod lol
Andr Sep 7, 2024 @ 10:23am
also the al-salihí house, their coat is just green
Andr Sep 7, 2024 @ 8:59am
Polkarios (a merchant family in italy) and the House Dulo (a khanate in the volga)
Radanos  [author] Sep 6, 2024 @ 4:08pm
Which ones specifically - can you tell? I'll try to have a look at it.
Andr Sep 6, 2024 @ 2:45pm
do you know how to fix it?
Andr Sep 6, 2024 @ 2:38pm
there are some black coats of arms
Radanos  [author] Jan 31, 2022 @ 5:21am
oh, I was sure I had it listed as a requirement.
Sorry for that, fixed it already.
PBJ Jan 21, 2022 @ 10:38pm
Alright, fixed the problem! So this mod requires that you install the ARKOpack module when initially running the HIP installer - failure to do so results in broken CoAs due to their reliance on ARKOpack. Re-installing HIP with the proper submods fixes the problem.
Radanos  [author] Jan 19, 2022 @ 8:20am
It's because CK2 loads mods randomly each time you start the game if not given specific instructions, ie. dependancies. You could try to manually copy dynasties txts from HIP/Patrum Scuta to this mod folder and see what works best.
PBJ Jan 18, 2022 @ 8:45pm
@BallsOfSteelBaby

Interestingly enough, no, it also lacks the same file. I've messed around a bit more with Vasikle's version, and found that the mod also runs into a similar problem when ran solely by itself alongside HIP: https://i.imgur.com/14oluSy.png (this should be the cross patonce between four martlets on azure rather than the rainbow)

Running the default Patrum Scuta mod alongside Vasikle's technically fixes the issue, but breaks the shields themselves by making them oversized and adds wrong landed title CoAs - which makes sense, seeing that the original Patrum Scuta is not compatible with HIP.

Trying the same tactic again with your mod again, I can't seem to replicate the same success I had earlier, so I'm not quite sure what went right. I'll keep fiddling with it a bit to see if anything works.
Radanos  [author] Jan 18, 2022 @ 8:00am
Sorry guys, was kinda busy and then forgot.

@PBJ
That's interesting. Do you know if Vasikle's version have the file?
I probably used the ARKO/HIP files for those, as I merged this mod with HIP at some point. But it should read them anyway unless you use another mod that overwrites those files.

@Nilserich
@zlatky
yeah, well, known issue on Paradox/Steam side. All subscribed mods for CK2 above some random number are stored in steam temporary mods folder, ie.:
"[DRIVE]:\Steam\userdata\[STEAM ID]\ugc\referenced".
PBJ Jan 15, 2022 @ 2:33pm
@mrzywiec

I know it's been a minute, but for anyone having a similar problem, run this mod alongside the vanilla Patrum Scuta mod. This mod does not modify the "dynasties" document in the /common folder, the one that assigns CoAs to each house, which results in randomized or odd CoAs.
Nilserrich Nov 15, 2021 @ 9:57am
Ugh. The stupid CK2 launcher doesn't show me the mod. Or Steam has already had its day and does not download the mod. Does anyone have a quick solution at hand? :escapethx:
zlatky Oct 3, 2021 @ 7:43am
Can you plz provide us with a direct download-link for this mod, casue Steam "refuses" to let it apprear after subscription? Thx in advance! \m/\m/
Radanos  [author] Sep 27, 2021 @ 5:28pm
will look into it in a week or so
gigaszef Sep 26, 2021 @ 1:44pm
Wessex dynasty coat of arms looks like a weird rainbow, not sure if I'm the only one that has this problem.
Radanos  [author] Aug 12, 2021 @ 8:04am
@Koray
Read the description, please. Also show me what you at exactly and be more polite, and maybe I'll try to help you.
Radanos  [author] Aug 12, 2021 @ 8:01am
@hambubger
oh mate, I can't remember those things anymore, but you'd have to not use the SWMH module as well, I reckon. Either way, I compared each duplicate between Patrum Scuta and ARKO and, as stated above, "selected better ones (as in: more historically plausible or just better looking/more detailed)"
Gapen Aug 10, 2021 @ 1:19pm
Can I just use regular Patrum Scuta if I don't have Arko installed? I think the CoA in that module are subpar at best
Korayバーチャル Jul 18, 2021 @ 4:14am
why in the hell seljuks have literally one single star with blue background you didnt even work on eastern factions even vanilla nonsense flag is better than congo flag
Roninlord Jun 11, 2021 @ 8:17am
Thanks for updating this!
Grajchłopiec Kartiusz Jun 9, 2021 @ 4:27am
Nevermind I redid it and this time it worked
Grajchłopiec Kartiusz Jun 9, 2021 @ 2:33am
Wanted to replace Lithuania's CoA, found a different .tga file, renamed it to k_lithuania, replaced the .tga file in your mod with my new one, then went into the game the but CoA from your mod stayed.
Radanos  [author] Jun 9, 2021 @ 1:15am
To what and why did you rename it?
Grajchłopiec Kartiusz Jun 8, 2021 @ 3:11pm
I tried to replace one of the CoA from the mod with a different one, so I went into the mod's .zip archive /gfx/flags, replaced the .tga file and renamed it, but that didn't work.

So I wonder what is the proper way to do this?
Radanos  [author] May 25, 2021 @ 2:53am
Yes, it is
[BRE] Galand May 24, 2021 @ 8:03pm
So this one is compatible with ARKOs CoA's?
Harald Hardrada May 13, 2021 @ 10:58am
Than you have my thanks and gratitude, mate. I'll give it a try when I return to hip
Radanos  [author] May 13, 2021 @ 6:07am
Vasikle's wasn't updated and many of the CoAs on the map were black. Also, as stated above, this mod adds some additional CoAs.
Harald Hardrada May 11, 2021 @ 5:44pm
whats the difference with "Vasikle's Patrum Scuta for HIP"
Branco May 7, 2021 @ 2:35pm
Thank you
