I would like to post this here for those that don't know, this is from the mod creator Oskar Potocki's Patreon, posted back in March regarding the future development of Rim-Effect.

" Rim-Effect was created when I was riding the Mass Effect Legendary Edition hype wave. As I finished the game, the hype died down and I lost interest in continuing the project. Considering it took as much time to make these mods as Vanilla Factions Expanded mods, and it only reached 5%-10% popularity of the VE mods, I couldn't justify spending so much time and effort on them. The mod will be reuploaded by Neronix and will receive 1.5 update on his end. "

I wish Oskar and his team would have continued working and updating the Rim-Effect series mods, I was looking forward to the Quarians and Turians being released however having Neronix update it is still appreciated. Hopefully one day the mod will be developed again and the stuff they are making now is great. :steamthumbsup:

Hey just letting people know, and im gonna put this message on the other mods as well, Neronix is working on the mods you just have to get the mod from the Github. Latest update just came out 13 hours ago.

m7 lancer is bugged. it's characteristics are not displayed in the description and it itself does not shoot. fix it please.

Thanks for the update! PS. The outdoor lamp tends to stay off after the day/night cycle. I can get it to turn on by switching colors but it doesnt turn on by itself.

Hi! I did some tinkering around in the files and got this mod (I think) working for 1.4, would you consider letting me release it as an unofficial update here on steam? Or some kind of forked version? Its a lovely mod!

Is there any help an experienced coder could offer to get this updated?

I have worked with Visual Studio, C#, and Rimworld Mods before, and I'd be willing to lend a hand if all that's missing is the grunt work to get this up and running in 1.4 :) I really love this series of mods, they've been a lot of fun to play with.

Getting the same error as JohnnyShow posted about way back in Feb. Started a discussion with link to log file and description. It's a pretty serious error as the light is very handy but unusable due to the errors spamming every tick.

Great mod!

A minor thing:
It would be great if the info graphics of the Capacitor Helmet and the Archon Visor could be fixed. I spend way longer than I like to admit trying to figure out how to unlock the "new abilities".

The Capacitor Helmet seems to be just a normal helmet without an ability, with a flat 50% armor against all damage types, not 5% armor.
The Archon Visor offers 20% armor against all damage types, not 2%. It gives a bonus to shooting accuracy, but also no new ability.

I can understand that with all the mods you have, it probably isn't on the highest priority.
Or is this mod still being worked on?

Which of the mods adds the kodiak and mako tank? Also is there a way to make them actually work? (similar to SRTS)
