@Nezzy, perhaps this mod would be more suitable for your needs: (TanzLO) More Subtle Ore Glow . Not my mod, but it's monochromatic and subtle.

Is it possible to make a monochrome w the dim version so that it doesnt effect too much in terms of lighting, I enjoy the darkness of my worlds

@Lord_Erchashishaniye, this mod should not conflict with fullbright! It sounds like you may possibly have another glowing ore mod installed along with this one - one that causes your ore to glow white instead. Perhaps check that? :)

never mind its all the ores and it not the fullbright problem either i checked after i uninstall fullbright

Excuse me i think i have a problem i have fullbright installed and the ore does glow but its all white coal copper other low tier ores will there be a compatibility patch for fullbright or those common ore meant to glow white?

@THE IRON WALRUS LORD, I've just tweaked it so Effigium should glow at least 2× brighter now! Please, let me know if it's easy enough to find, if you find a minute to do so! Keep in mind that because Effigium isn't colourful, the glow will be plain white and not as vibrant as the other ores can be :) that might make it easier to find because most of the ores, modded or vanilla, are quite colourful!

@THE IRON WALRUS LORD, I double-checked and Effigium should glow faintly white - since it's proving difficult to locate, I will up that brightness for you with a quick little update :)

what color does it show for Effigium? I have been searching for hours with no luck.

i mean a very dim version, super dim version, and only rare ores get a glow.

remake the mod, so ores don't glow that much, only rare ores glow
or make new mod that includes that feature
or just add a way to make it changable (you should be able to change what ore glows how intense)

Could you add compatibility to the Stargate mod? It adds a couple of ores, would be very helpful if they glowed.

This mod does add a faint glow to Effigium :)

Also, not sure if that has been said anywhere, but is it intended that Effigium ore is glowing faintly, or has that been a recent update from FU?

I think it's definitely possible utilising a fullbright mod but I definitely don't feel confident undertaking something like that? Maybe ask around, I'm sure there's a modder out there that would have no trouble implementing that.

A question: Is it possible to make ores visible without making them directly emit a glow? Similar to the spelunker potion effect from Terraria I mean.
