does anyone know of any inventory expansions compatible with this mod? 18 slots isnt much with my mod setup and this mod is too lovely to not want :(

Im downloading this right now and can already tell its going to be a perma stay in my play time. The only thing more I could ask for is The mountain compatibility but I dont need it as just this is more than enough <3

I'm so pleased you found happiness through this mod.
(And through so many more mods it seems ! )

Thankyou for the kind words, those really brought a smile to my face this morning.

Amazing. This mod does exactly as advertised, and allowed me to eliminate three other mods from my load order by taking over their functionality. No longer must I check Google to see what provisions I ought to be taking on my adventures, and I've still got my 18 slot inventory to carry whatever I purchase.

Thank you so much, @RustyDios. From XCOM 2 to Darkest Dungeon, it seems like whenever I find a mod that truly elevates my gameplay experience, it's got your name on it. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the effort that you've put into your mods over the years. If I ever have the opportunity, I'd be honored to buy you a beer sometime. In the meantime, if you have a preferred donation method for "tips," please point me to it. :)

Those are not covered by this mod. Personally I have them from other "stacking items" mods. The tonic is unique to that mod though. I would say as long as this one is higher you should get the screen/setup from this mod, and the effects of that other one :)
TheGrandSirPiggy Mar 13, 2023 @ 3:28am
I still want to use its supply item, the Chameleon Tonic, and also like its changes to quest/dog treats/firewood stacking. I don't think dose are covered by your mod, right?
RustyDios  [author] Mar 13, 2023 @ 2:55am
I honestly don't know. I wouldn't use that other mod with this one. But if you insist on doing so, placing this higher should be okay :)
TheGrandSirPiggy Mar 13, 2023 @ 1:58am
Should this mod:

by O'nightmare still be placed bellow sunward isles, or is dose not matter as long as its bellow your mod?
Toxic Masculinity Jul 2, 2022 @ 11:24pm
It's all good, I understand. I just figured it was worth asking. Happy to support the mod too, it's one of my main essentials.
RustyDios  [author] Jul 2, 2022 @ 11:11pm
Unfortunately not going to happen anytime soon :(
For a number of reasons including shortage of personal life time, I have stepped away from modding in DD to focus on other stuff. I also have zero experience with the Vermintide mod. I don't know what enemies/curios the Vermintide mod would require.

So I am not adding new features at this time, just keeping maintenance and major bugfixing if required. Thankyou for the support in using the mod :)
~ I'm sorry if this is not the answer you were hoping for.
Toxic Masculinity Jul 2, 2022 @ 3:43pm
Any chance for an update that adds support for Vermintide?
RustyDios  [author] Jun 18, 2022 @ 3:25am
That's neat to know it actually works without Sunward Isles just as well. It'll remain as a required item though, just because having the SI details shown, without SI, makes little sense otherwise.

Also yeah, the 2x9 inventory is a small side bonus. I found it to be a great number for inventory space, not too expansive that it trivialises the inventory management - but just enough to grab that extra loot. And the UI all fits without much twisting/extending :)
TheGreenFellow Jun 18, 2022 @ 12:16am
Oh, also - I wish you'd highlight that it expands the inventory to 2x9; I stumbled across this by accident (searching for 'inventory' doesn't bring this mod up!). I'd been searching for a 2x9 inventory space mod for a couple days, so this happened to be exactly what I wanted; there don't seem to be many other mods that add 2x9 space (without changing a bunch of things or adding new items; it's so annoying when mod authors don't stick to modular approaches); most seem to go 3x8 or higher which is rather excessive.
TheGreenFellow Jun 18, 2022 @ 12:06am
Just want to add a note, this appears to function fine without Sunward Isles actually installed.
[Huntai] Kevkas Aug 9, 2021 @ 7:32pm
Cool thanks, I'll probably push the update later today, or tomorrow. :cozybethesda:
RustyDios  [author] Aug 9, 2021 @ 7:23pm
Dual bleed-blight would fit it imo :)
[Huntai] Kevkas Aug 9, 2021 @ 7:21pm
I updated the Casual Prov.. mod a couple of hours ago. You can check it if you want, I added a dual 'bleed-blight' icon and 'blight-bleed' icon for Courtyard and Farmstead, since both have roughly an even number of enemies that cause one or the other, though in both the balance leans to either bleed or blight, it's not as predominant as in the 4 basic locations in which there's a clear 'primary' damage type.

I already have the background for the Quest Selection Background mod ready but I wanted to also push the update for the sunward isles version of it. I can either put the 'bleed' icon alone, or the dual 'bleed-blight' icon (in that order based on what you explained). Which one do you think fits best for that location?
RustyDios  [author] Aug 9, 2021 @ 6:40pm
Yeah, that's a weird one for Sunward Isles. But I think its bleed above blight. There are few enemies in Sunward that do either imo, but there is one Sunward enemy that does bleed and then gets double damage vs bleeding ... so it's something that needs protecting against imo.
[Huntai] Kevkas Aug 9, 2021 @ 12:47pm
Hey Rusty, I have a quick question since you use Sunward Isles.

I'm thinking about adding the 'bleed' and 'blight' drop icons next ot the names of each location in the Quest Selection Background - Location and Enemies mod I recently made, same thing that appears next to the Casual Provisions and Common Enemies screenshots, the bleed and blight ' icons before area names is the primary damage type the enemies are dealing ' in that location (as per the original description of the Casual Provisions mod).

Is there a predominant damage type associated with Sunward Isles? Bleed? Blight? both? or none?

I ask so that I can include those changes in the sunward isles version of the mod I made as well.

Cheers.

It present from the start it's just missions there don't turn up until week 6
[Huntai] Kevkas Aug 4, 2021 @ 5:12pm
Done, let me know if it works. I read the description of that mod and it says 'Starting on week 6 a foreign trading vessel will weigh anchor outside the Hamlet." so I don't know if the boat in the background image is present from the start, or if the mod switches backgrounds dynamically, if you can test it and let me know if it's working properly I would appreciate it :cozybethesda:

I'll take a look and see if I can make a compatible version, it's just a simple edit in Photoshop so shouldn't be too hard to make the same edit on the Sunward Isles background. I'll download it and take a look and get back to you.
RustyDios  [author] Aug 4, 2021 @ 3:48pm
Ah, yes.. I see the issue would be because Sunward also overrides that screen to show the ship ?
[Huntai] Kevkas Aug 4, 2021 @ 3:20pm
Sup Rusty, I ended up updating the good old 'Casual Provisions and Common Enemies' (just minor things like updating the font style for example), but I also ended up making a companion mod to that one called 'Quest Selection Background - Locations and Enemies' (because apparently I am incapable of making short names for mods xD).

It basically does the same thing but to the previous screen (the quest selection one), I found myself having to go back and forth between the quest selection screen and the provisions screen to check enemy types by location in order to decide which characters to take based on their positive/negative quirks, and more often than not I just needed that info in the quest selection screen, so I added it. I figured I should let you know in case you need/want to do the same for your mod:

RustyDios  [author] Jun 27, 2021 @ 12:59am
Yes.
If it's not, then Sunward Isles settings will override this.

Just for clarification it doesn't need to be -directly- above SI, just -somewhere- above SI in the drag and drop in-game modlist.
FairyBeardMother Jun 26, 2021 @ 5:31pm
As much as i like this mod. It's going to be a hassle having to get it above Sunward isles as i have other mods that have to be above and under. Are you absolutely positive it has to be above?
RustyDios  [author] Jun 3, 2021 @ 8:01pm
The numbers are based on the numbers in the Casual Provisions mod ... and an average of the curio's needing the item ... and what I've found I need to take.

It's still only a guide, if you feel you'll never need 4 keys in the ruins, then don't take them ??
I had it at 1,2,3 .. but then would find in the Ruins only I'd use all the keys on locked stuff ... and then scout a secret room ... so upped it :)
rainturtle Jun 3, 2021 @ 7:12pm
Why would you want to bring 4 keys to long dungeon? You don't have the place to carry all the loots back anyway.
Rauhk May 2, 2021 @ 4:20pm
Oh wow, thank you! I hope this works out for others that use all 3 mods, too
RustyDios  [author] May 2, 2021 @ 3:24pm
@Rauhk I updated the mod to shift the provisions back to 7 columns and moved them to line up with the background. I hope this fixes your overlap issues. :)
Rauhk May 2, 2021 @ 1:20pm
Welcome to Darkest Dungeon modding! Loving your stuff so far =D
RustyDios  [author] May 2, 2021 @ 12:39pm
Thanks for the comments :)
I'm not using those other mods, but I'm glad it works with them, mostly. I wasn't expecting to get 3+ rows of items, but I can look into shifting stuff about to fit if it needs it - I just need some kind of reference of space ... and ... It's really limited on space.

Also wasn't aware of exactly what provision.dd.character was, thought it was just an alternative skin, but I guess I can replace that one too. I'm 'new' to Darkest Dungeon and to modding it :)
Rauhk May 2, 2021 @ 11:45am
Just a heads up, this mod will also cause the provisions character image to flicker in and out since it doesn't replace provision.dd.character as well
Rauhk May 2, 2021 @ 9:11am
Or people can use this add-on (which should be above those) to set the rows to 7 items wide. Both solutions work.
Rauhk May 2, 2021 @ 9:09am
Can confirm visible with Herbs of the Wild and Enigma alongside Sunward, but may cause an issue.
With those mods setting the provision items to 9 item wide rows (unsure which one does), if you're at 3+ rows of items (doable with herbs, enigma items, omamori, Cure+Blood), the items will start clipping everything to the right of the Antivenom in the suggestions image.
If anyone else has this problem, I'm just going to shift this image to be just slightly off of the left wood border without letting the "banner" of blood display,

Thank you so much for making a Sunward Isle friendly version! Been hoping someone would do this ever since we got the first casual provisions helpers!
