yes great mod the I think an amazing addition would be if every time they attacked you John Bradford would say commander, the aliens continue to make progress on the avatar project if were going to slow them down we need to move fast

I'm without a computer for a couple more weeks and behind on a lot of projects. I haven't abandoned this. Just need to get set up in my new place and get caught up again.

commander. the aliens are still moving forward on the Avatar project. Taking out that facility would deal a serious blow to their efforts.

Hate to check in, just wondering if it coming out soon. I am hoping to do a extreme modded survival series on YT for Rimworld and would love to do the complete set of xcom mods from you in it

SOOO playable avent, this can mean only a list of mods or a pain for you and for us who cant survive xcom 2 a dream with vipers :P and maybe even faceless (but fuck thoes things)

Attention: I will absolutely be updating all my mods to 1.3. I want to take the time to look at the new code first in order to make sure the code changes are implemented correctly for the new version, as well as make any balance changes, and to implement any relevant new features into my mods,

The upcoming week is going to be busy for me already as the busy season for my real job is just beginning and goes pretty heavy through the fall and holiday season. But I will try to find the time as soon as I am able. My goal is to have all my mods ready for the official release in a couple weeks.

note I will be maintaining support for 1.2 after the update to 1.3 but I a have already moved on from 1.1 or older, so, those versions will not be maintained unless they are naturally compatible.

I am running into a small issue with the Alien Alloy slag, I can't smelt it down. And yes I do have the ADVENT data cache research done. I am able to craft the Alien Alloy but can't Smelt it down, any suggestion?

What are you looking for? This mod adds a faction that uses the armors from XCOM Armor .

The last image on the slide shows the ADVENT armors. The units from the faction are detailed above :steamthis:

not sure if this been brought up. the advent shield-breakers when someone recharges them with etherium crystals, they eat the entire stack instead of just 5. I had a stack of 90 and it ate all of them

I do not know the code and goings on under the hood of this game, but perhaps instead of a cool down, using the shield places a hedif on the user, and while that hedif exists, the power may not be re-used? Anyway, I have managed to recruit a couple of insane natives who love to melee things, so I have my solution to the problem :)

That's great feedback. Thanks. I tried adding a cooldown function on my first pass. It's...tricky. It's something I will keep looking in to though.

Hummmm, so, the shield bearers are dropping shields almost constantly, leaving a trail of red bubbles behind them. Perhaps there needs to be a cool down on that ability? Otherwise they seem pretty cool, as they encourage you to maintain some decent melee characters to go deal with them. The first few raids though, were pretty scary - ADVENT is quite tough and X-weapons bounce off their gear a lot. Luckilly they deliver new weapons to use against them next time :P

I'm likely just slow, but I can't seem to find a workbench to smelt the alien alloy. It's possible a mod conflict, but I checked the smelter, fab bench, machine bench and smith. I can smelt normal slag.

think you can make it so we have to preform a special surgery on prisoners from this mod in order to recruit them
like remove the chip in their head as with how the x com skirmishers work

In the context of this mod, they are humans. I didn't want to make a dependency on the Alien Framework.

However, when the other alien species show up that might change.....
