This is a map, and thus does not have anything that adds to vannila map, but yes it does if you start a new world on this map. Pentagon content, which has content you can add to vanilla maps, will work.

Will this mod work when you install it after you made the single player world?

At one point there was a planned rodent, I'm just not sure what ti would be able to do, additionally , this mods creature roster is full up, sorry

Piper, your request has been implemented, it is now mod compatible and creatures spawn on other maps

After the next update, you will also need the PENTAGON CONTENT mod, to have all the creatures spawn and everything work properly
