I suggest actually reading. This mod has not been supported since 1.4 came out, and the creator has left Rimworld. There are other mods that do similar, and the creator themselves recommended them in the first lines of the description.

Thanks for the update, Author Man. I have been playing with your Github pre-release and have had no issues with it yet, but my characters have not gone above 20 skill yet.

Ultimately the biggest issue right now is that I *really* want to rebalance this. I've played with it a fair bit myself and found the quality scaling to be ridiculously strong, and XP scales way too quickly. I've got a few ideas on how to rebalance and make it more fun but, like I said, burnt out and I'm drowning in projects that require more attention than this (Gotta keep a roof over my head!)

I got burnt on Rimworld and I found the Biotech release to be disappointing. I'm too busy these days with work to take the time to sit down and relearn the modding workflow for Rimworld. (especially code-patching mods, and making this mod took a week to test and debug alone)

If you're looking for a 1.4 version of this mod, I believe Endless Growth is similar. I haven't tried it though, so no guarantee on quality. There's a 1.4 pre-release I made on Github. You can find it in the discussions page if you're interested in that. I don't remember if it's stable or not.

As is, this mod is broken when trying to use it in 1.4. It makes pawns unable to perform any task. No other mod seems to fill this niche.
