@Tim Great, I'm glad it's working.

I've finished rewriting the mode. I'm still going to test it for a while, but everything seems to be working as it should. It's going to be a new mod. There will be no need to switch to it if everything works for you.

I found the glitch. For some reason the UI settings glitched it out. After adjusting the UI settings size etc. It popped back into existence. Im now back to playing Zomboid. Thank you for this indispensable mod :)

@Tim I'd try looking in C:\Users\<user>\Zomboid\Lua\bzhotbar.ini to see if there's anything wrong. Make a backup of that file and delete it and maybe that will help.

For some reason all the hot bars disappeared, I added another and now its the only one that works. So from 1-4 bars dont show up but number 5 does. I checked the settings in game options and it looks fine. Dont know what happened.

@Chubby Pillbug So the hyphen is the problem.. Thx, I'll add it to the mod description.
@Vz It shouldn't be a problem to make a setting to not show the delete button. I'll add it.

I'm on holiday around Christmas and wanted to post a new mod I made last year. I would also like to rewrite this mod to make it easier for me to edit. I would make a brand new one and that would solve the problem with the hyphen.

For people saying that this doesn't work on dedicated server: If you are using a web tool to get a list of mod names and workshop item tags-- copy and paste the actual name of this mod manually, the web tools are not copying the full name of the mod because IT HAS A HYPHEN IN IT. None of the web tools correctly grab the names of mods with hyphens in them

Really liked this mod, wish there is a 'remove item' button hide/unhide option, it's big on steam deck, hard to click items

@Krilton Only for one, becouse right click on item is for the first item in inventory and then in containers like backpack...

@Cheryl It should be same like for invertory window, But you have to press TAB and table should be back.

doesnt work on dedicated servers. try and get a test env setup for testing. it's pretty easy.

So this might sound stupid but when you press the "X" on one of the tables how the hell do you open it again? It disappeared off the screen and wont come back under any circumstances ?

would this work for gun magazines to simply remove them from a fanny pack or backpack and placed in the inventory?

I can't get it to work in Multiplayer. It doesn't show up under Options at all and i've moved it to the top of my mod list and still nothing.

I'm having the same problem as @싱감. We have a hosting service and it's working for my friend but not for me. I'm wondering if mod load order has something to do with it. Idk. No error in the corner. Nothing shows up. The keybind is in the controls menu, so it's active, but bugged. If I find a solution I'll post an update here.

I have confirmed that the key setting is set to Tab and checked various other settings, but the bzouk's hot bar mode does not work in Project Zomboid. I am looking for a solution

been using it since i left the comment, idk what i'd do without this mod (well i guess i'd be looking in my bags half of the time is what i'd be doing lol)

@CrispyChestnuts I just wanted the windows to be hidden because the first thing I do is look around. But I don't play the game that much anymore so it's not a problem to turn the windows on at startup. It seems to confuse people quite a bit that they can't see the windows when the game starts and have to press TAB.

wow i am tired, it says rigfht there "Tab key for show/hide bar" and that's what i was doing wrong. i thought it would just be there on load. seems like a neat mod.

@bzoukLop We got it working. It ended up being a problem on his end. When I hosted, the mod worked perfectly fine!! It is now running on a local dedicated server I am running :)

@玄月 Yea i am using this mod also. Check last screeenshot in mod gallery for upcoming changes. It's a bit of a problem to display the number of cartridges in the magazine, because the slot only displays one and that's the first one it finds in the inventory. This is how it is for all items. Probably it could be solved somehow. Maybe I can think of something. Between () is the number of total magazine cartridges.

can you combine the mod <Weapon Condition> ? I think it is very useful to show item durability or firearms magazine's number.

New version. Disable eating frozen food ( working on icon - next update) removed ModOptions:isHost() soo maybe MP works now....

@고양일 It is probably problem with code. I followed some instructions and now I don't know why I put it there. I'll remove it in the next update and if it doesn't break anything in singleplay it should fix the problem in MP. @Deceptive Pastry described what the probably problem was. I will try it to release it today... no promise

When I go to the Mods tab on my Dedicated Server, I don't see the Bzouk Fast Hotbar setting. What should I do? (p.s. I'm using a translator.)

Hi , I am back and have some time to play again. I tested with my friends in hosted version and it works for me and them. MP not tested yet. (I will probably start local server and test it.)

Hi, I reposted this mod with my own default settings so that they work in my dedicated server, due to mod options issues and server files not updating this mod. I will delete my version if you want, I just wanted to let you know. i will credit your mod in my description as well.

Need to add frozen icon to frozen food, I eat frozen stir fries now and then.

I wonder if the issue with mod options not loading or even showing in the menu while connected to a server has something to do with this line:

So basically if you aren't host then it isn't connecting to the mod options file at all? Because other mods do not include ModOptions:isHost() and they still work properly as a client in MP server.
