Hello, I have a bug when I kill the prey damsel the combat does not progress. I cannot take any action or scape from combat. I have tried to install the rest of the compatibility mods and the combat still does not progress. Please I need a solution so as not to lose hours of progress in the game. Thanks for your attention

I'm not gonna lie. the Profaned Chimera is honestly the worst thing to encounter in the ruins. A team built to deal with them will probably come out with more stress and all on death's door. Even if its the first fight of the dungeon. If it spawns with the feral cultists, you can kiss your team and their trinkets good bye. At first i thought it was just me getting bad RNG on their moves. but no it wasnt. They were even built to deal with shuffles. The amount of damage that enemy comp can deal is insane. You can NOT out heal it. nearly 100 HP in Darkest Mode, and gets a crit and acc modifier from being guarded? Accompanying enemies self heal when they attack, and are bulky with highish dodge? Yeah no.

An incredibly well made, fully official-looking mod. Do be warned that most of the enemy encounters in this mod are harder than vanilla, and certain minibosses and other elite encounters are MUCH more difficult than any vanilla encounter. Not recommended unless using a somewhat power-crept mod setup.

And it seems that creators are completely blind to these obvious issues, trying to deflect any criticism by bickering and hostility. Which is really sad, giving both the great potential of this mod and the fact that those people will continue to inject the same design philosophy into other big modding projects, making those experiences all the more tiresome.

Though there are many more examples of ridiculously powerful enemies with horrendous and rage-inducing party compositions, some enemies and all proper minibosses seem to be actually balanced well among with having absolutely astonishing visuals. In general, unfortunately, looks are almost as inconsistent as balance, ranging from Red Hool-like to pretty rough and clunky, obviously sticking out.

As high as I had my hopes from pretty screenshots and great popularity, this mod turned out to be an unbalanced and almost overindulgent disappointment. Where other creature mods such as Koala's Creature Collection strike that delicate vanilla balance between challenge and fun, this mod instead just overwhelms your with inflated numbers and ability pools. For me the straw that broke the camel's back was the chief swine, who has a) 70-100 HP b) two turns c) can poison on attack d) can guard himself e) can AT ANYTIME SUMMON ANOTHER ENEMY, and on top of that can be encountered in the hallways AND ambush you together with the other swine. How did ANYBODY on the mod team not think that this was too much?

Bug report: 'brig_loot_dosh_C.info.darkest' is a copy of 'brig_loot_dosh_C.art.darkest' rather than a monster definition.

I have been playing this mod since the release on 3 different saves and i love it.

But on the last save, i don't get the trinkets from brigand treasurer. I have been defeating him like 6-8 times but still not looting any of his trinkets... So i'm wondering if there's a pourcentage of droping and i'm just unlucky, or a bug. I don't remember having such trouble on the previous saves tho.

To reply to the comments about balance, it does make the game harder, but the game is already designed to be challenging and the trinkets you drop from the monsters are really rewarding, so skill issue.

I really want to download this, but from watching videos of this mod and reading the recent comments, I will not be doing so until enemies receive another balance pass.

I'm all for "grit your teeth" gameplay, but the numbers are overtuned for a Vanilla or Vanilla+ experience, and I prefer to have my mods balanced around that central pillar. It's a shame, it really looks awesome. Count me in once some updates happen.

@Darkfox871, "+bleed amount" is a percentage modifier that increases the bleed damage of a character's skills by that percentage. "+Bleed amount received" amplifies the bleed damage a character takes after suffering a bleed DoT.

im a bit confused about the "+bleed amount" on the "Condemned's Hood" does that mean i bleed more or they do? cause if its supposed to make them bleed more then it isn't working as they're bleeding for the same amount and thus in my opinion makes the trinket pretty useless as while +40% bleed resist is great the fact that if its i bleed more and lose a whole 20% of DB resistance
it makes the trinket highly undesirable unless you're in need of cash.

Update: I wrote in an earlier comment (which I've now deleted) that I thought that this mod had made my game crash. It appears that the problem was actually another mod I had installed: "Perfect Faster Dungeon" (or possibly an interaction between that mod and this one). When I uninstalled that mod, I was able to progress beyond the point in the battle in which the game kept crashing (a bone torturer using its "shackles" attack on my arbalest in the second-from-back position).

The monsters used to be able to be seperatly subscriped to.

How can I not use certain monsters in this mod? Like uncheck them to not appear....

This mod flanderises the different dungeons - prot spam in cove, blight spam in weald, that sort of thing. It reduces build diversity by forcing you to overly specialise in certain tactics for certain areas. Most of the minibosses are time-consuming tanky slogs who are more annoying than dangerous. Some of the additional mobs are cool but mostly they polarise enemy teams into useless or nasty with no in-between; quad cicadas in level 1 dungeons are almost incapable of hurting you, whereas invisible goat + giant practically guarantees somebody will get clobbered on higher difficulties. Double shark giant is just stupid.

forge swine is designed to punish you if you leave him last. He does little damage if he's not the last one alive. leaving him last alive or stuck in ranks 1 or 2 will cause him to use the coals move.

Very cool mod, the assets are all excellent, and the monsters fit the game very well.
Have to unfortunately pass on it for now, the added mobs are way stronger than the regular mobs and it throws the balance of the game a little if you don't use OP modded classes.
The Iron Maiden move that the new Ruins monster does is insane, does high damage, bleed AND stress, which destroys you if you don't have trinkets. This enemy also has 5 speed for some reason. The forge swine has 27 hit points, which is honestly insane, if he didn't have the insane coal move which does high damage + stress to the whole party, he would be fine as he is mostly a buffer and you could stall on him. The Cove riposte monster feels very weak? And the Nymphs can absolutely destroy you as they behave a little bit like the Slime but they reproduce way quicker, and have more hit points.

I have problems integrating both Lost Monsters + Coalas with their patches into my game :/
Koalas work fine, but boths mods+ patch makes my game crash :/

this mods is kinda fun but raging a bit after loosing my dismas to my first level 5 dungeon. All the status resists are off by +100 %. when a highwayman spec for bleed CANT bleed a bleed resist 60 enemy it really throws a monky wrench into the work especailly when they love to add high proc enemies where you NEED to dot them.

It‘s an interesting mod, I can give you that, but definitely not a balanced one. Anyone who seek to encounter hard enemies and fight them with overpowered mod classes, try this out, otherwise better turn around, don't want casualty incidence to increase drastically. This mod just inundates your dungeon with packs of strong enemies that lack balance test, if the devs do that at all. Imagine an enemy who, is capable of dealing 8 damage, inflicting 3/3rd bleed and 19 stress at the same time, and is capable of doing that without strict rank requirements, and has higher HP than most apprentice monsters. Yes, monsters like that swarm your apprentice dungeon and consequently populate your graveyard quickly. And all that mentioned is just the tip of the iceberg.

Would it be possible to have the 'new minibosses are active now' event fire not on a set week, but on an average of character levels in the current roster? Just had three 0s and a 1 run face-first into the hanging tree. : /

Must have mod. Extremly well done. Some monsters fit so well in the base game, that I just discovered after they were from this mod. At first some monsters can appear really hard, like the shark, but after you get the hang of it they can even be used to a good stalk. The hardest ones are in the warrens, but nothing impossible.

Some strong monsters appear way too often, I just had 4 sharks in the same short lv3 dungeon. Most monsters are well designed but not all are that well balanced
