i got the mod and at first it didn't work and the second time my complexity only went to 2000!

how do you even increase the complexity???

I'm not the developer but that's most likely something out of the mod's control. Despite workshop mods being downloaded to a different folder, the game still occasionally looks for the mod in the "local" mods folder. Again, this isn't something that the mod can control.

Subject: Game crashes after about an hour with a "Fatal Error" related to main.lua

Hello! I'm a big fan of the mod and appreciate your work. I've been experiencing a persistent crash that happens after about an hour of gameplay. The game completely shuts down and gives a fatal error.

I checked the crash log, and it points to a System.IO.FileNotFoundException. Specifically, it says it "Could not find file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Trailmakers\mods\ComplexityMod\main.lua'."

This seems to happen after a while, not right at the start. I've tried unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mod to ensure a clean download, but the issue persists.

Do you have any suggestions, or is this a known issue? Thanks again for the great mod!

The plane im building is well over 2400 god help me. Its a fight against crashes at this point.

You type the number of complexity you want in the box that should show up when you activate the mod.

Just set it to a high enough number and it's basically the same, game will get really unstable after a certain point anyway

When I go over 2k complexity it crashes me even if i set diffrent parts of my creation into one (3 parts) it wont work ;-; and its not my computers problem its not laggy but it gives me a message and then kicks me from the game

if it dose not work at first press esc then press session and check mark it (activate)
it should pop up a modifier thing press b to open up building menu then modify your complexity.

For some reason this mod isnt working, i've restarted the game and im still stuck with the 700 limit, is there anything im missing?

Maybe steam being confused by the same, honestly I don't know, but I can promise there isn't nor ever was any exe bundled with this mod.
I don't blame you, Trojans are no jokes, but windows defender is actually real good (on my end it automatically deleted said Trojan as soon as it was downloaded), other than that we have to rely on devs/steam staff to delete malevolent files

that is very bizzare, i have just downloaded the mod again and its the correct id (2433....) without the trojan file,though im sure it was this complexity mod that i downloaded and to verify it as i said when i deleted it it unsubscribed to this one, i have no idea what to tell you then

Dunno what to tell you, but you can find my mod's files (like the preview image) in the folder I mentioned before, you can also ask just about anyone else and they can confirm there was no trojan

well then how come when i deleted that folder your complexity mod was unsubscribed and also deleted from the mod list?

that one has already been removed from the workshop
if it were this one you would have noticed it way sooner (last update was 3 years ago and of 40k people noone mentioned it)

this is a virus, windows defender and other antiviruses detect it as a severe trojan, do not install and if you did delete it through (DRIVENAME)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\585420\3218855296

How Do I Change The Complexity No UI box Pops Up ??

idk about that... lag would not cause the game to completely give up trying to load the conections.. lag would just make my fps drop and cause freezes... but what i have is complete interaction failure... can't even open the map or interacty with anything in game.. but i am still able to move the camera in build mode.. but unablke to exit build mode...

The mod basically just tells the game to increase the complexity, it's not like there is something wrong on its side, I can check if something about connection changed, tho it might just be lag not making it work properly, iirc already moving a block at 700 complexity isn't the most stable thing

when i now try to join 2 parts of my build the game simply refuses to join them.. and i can't exit build mode or do anything else rhen quit to the main menu and load back in... aaand i only did split my build in 2 as after reaching 1250 parts the same thing would happen when duplicating blocks.. i think trailmakers has changed something in a update that affects how blocks connection nodes are calculated and detected.. and since the fame was not meant for stuff larger then 700 i guess they either intentionally or unintentionally caused structures to no longer join together correctly if they are larger then ~1200 blocks.. which sort of makes this mod half obsolete... unless there is a problem with this mod in which case.. plz do update it..

Once you activate the mod an ui element appears, type your new complexity in there
