In that case the code would need a split if for the knife aimed at nothing valid = spawn on ground in direction player was facing at random distance around 11 range, then if it was aimed at something valid drop it at that point
It'd be a good hook point for a rocket launcher / other projectile explosive... does that exist already?
I then found a 2nd issue with this, the mod checks the number of Knives to reload upon throwing the knife and empties out the last in inventory if that was the last one before the last knife hits the target so that knife ceases to exist too.
The Knife gets dropped to the ground from the code upon hit checking if the player has the knife equipped but the reload un-equips it before the knife hits.
