I am of two minds about this mod. The hero makes sense. Custom assets are nice. Supporting gunpowder gameplay is nice.

On another hand, stacking two Hangunner focus master engines in one army gives you 80-150 missile damage suppressive handgunners with -30 upkeep discount who trivially outperform Ikit's ratling gunners both in battle and on campaign. The enemies enter the range and just instantly evaporate.

If you care about having a -somewhat- challenging campaign, you'll have to tweak some of the bonuses down yourself with RPFM. Or make bonuses non-stacking, but that looks to be far more involved.

Could traits like "quatermaster" "Engingeering Master" from this mod Could be included in Dwarf Master Engineer hero class trait list?
It Would be most fitting for Dawi, as their roster is pretty gunpowder heavy.
Also... Thunderbardge would benefit. F the balance :D

i feel like the repeater pistol shot on the steam tank maybe got a visual bug .The pistol model is at a holster on the hip of theengineer but spring to the rifle position when he takes aims

Open the .pack in rpfm, navigate to the "/db/character_skill_nodes_tables/" and for each table there, delete the 5th or 6th line. Then save

How do I go about editing the mod to remove some of the mount options? The visuals are nice but feel an engineer going around in a steamtank is a bit OP for my campaign balance

Hmm you're right on that. The real problem is something with ranged lord/heros, or maybe it was a problem with ranged warmachines in particular. Maybe I'll have another look.

No, there's a bug when a lord/hero rides a mount that can itself shoot (notice that that never happens in vanilla). That's why I changed the steam tank mount to the von zeppel version.

Hey! Great mod! Could you add another mount? So that the engineer can ride The Black Lions (War Wagons - Helblasters)? This is a nice but rare unit. But for an engineer, this is a great option!

Are there any plans to map this across with the awesome Sigmar's Heirs mod? It's irritating that i can't utilise provincial units because the unit upgrades aren't available.

That's probably the name of ZombieFlanders' original version. There's a checkbox on the Load Save Game dialogue to ignore missing mods.

Hey everyone, I tried to continue my old campaign included this mod [Empire master Engineer II + Mech. Steed VFX Mod], but when I'm at the load campaign panel, my campaign save seems unavailable for the next reason : miss "zf_sorin_master_engineer" file

Sorry, I meant that using war wagons as an engineer mount greys out the ranged attack button, leaving only the melee attack order. They function a bit like Araknaroks in that you can only order them into melee but they do fire around them as intended, seemingly.

I'm not sure what you mean by the first.
I've fixed the second, which is definitely a bug in the war balloon case. For the war wagon and steam tank, I suspect it didn't apply to those two for a good reason. But I fixed it anyway. :KScared:

Two bug reports, both related to mounts: First, War Wagons can only be ordered to attack in melee but do in fact shoot around them, just with AI only targeting. Second, the Repeater Rifle burst fire skill does not work with some mounts. Or rather, when you equip a mount you seem to lose the multishot effect, but not AP damage penalty. Near as I can tell, it does not work with the Balloon and Steam Tank, but does with the horse types and the War Wagon. With the Balloon and Steam Tank, it is a strictly worse-than-useless skill until you get to the max rank, where it is simply a waste of 3 skillpoints.

Ok there's nothing wrong with this mod as far as interfering with ogre recruitment, but there might be something wrong with the Leadbelcher mod.

Edit: Okay, I tested mod per mod, and it appears that the graphics glitch is due to CTT. I guess it broke once you implemented the Von Zeppelin version of the tank, and it has yet been fixed.

The Hochland Long Rifle engineer seems to have his textures corrupted i.e melted face. I used this alongside the empire uniforms and heraldry mod and it worked without issue. But after some time, he's the only issue

Without said empire reskin, his textures are still corrupted for me, he's the only one. Subbed and unsubbed, same thing. Using the kaedrin mod manager btw
