re: the name list issue, players can soft patch that themselves by copying a namelist into \2409558050\localisation\english\axolotl_l_english.yml
The localisation\english directories will need to be created.
I copied the reptile list in and changed the & it seems alright (see next comment)

I didn't realise how much I needed space axolotls until I saw this

If you have multiple playsets then this certainly does not happen.

I have one playset for ironman games and so far no mods have been automatically added to that. The launcher asks you if you want to add new mods once you open the playset after subscribing to new mods.

Its a cute mod, its neat, but i just lost out on achievements i was gunning for cause apparently mods activate as soon as you sub to them now- just so happened to be this mod that did that- so uh. im salty.

This looks amazing. Seconded on the name list issue though - nameless empires of nameless axolotls are the one downside here.

Why dont you make an entire amphibian/fish pack? Im sure with enough word spread it would be the top portrait mod in the workshop granted its of this magnificent quality! Great job!

Amazing portrait that fits right in with the game, animations are top notch!

A bug with this mod: The portrait can be used by randomly generated AI empires, but any empire using it won't have an empire name or species name (and I also assume no name lists and probably a few other issues).

I think that's probably due to the portrait being under it's own category in appearance select instead of under 'reptilian' or something, but it's something I noticed.

Now this is some original design.

Why you don't make this portraits in the same style used in the Alien Gecko? This guy is too cute to be made like one of the most serious species.

Thank you for all the kind words everyone. I'm glad you like the portrait! I do plan on making more in the future but with the limited free time I have right now, I can't say when for certain.
