I LOVE that you tell what redline skills work for your units! So many modders don't include that information.

Is there any chance you can keep their old stats of previous sequel? Sometime, having op unit scratch your itch as single player.

@Ruggedgolem They shouldn't. Basically because of the way skills work, the only way that they would conflict is that we got super unlucky and both mods use the same numerical code to embed themselves in the skill tree. The skills work with my preferred custom skill points mod, so you should be fine. Still, if you do find any conflicts lmk, and it's an easy fix to adjust.

UPDATE: Fixed a bug that made these units not show up on the recruitment screen. One of the Rakarth update patches adjusted the Sisters of Avelorn recruitment, which was messing things up.
Also, Alarielle now has 2 custom skills to boost these units!

@Barnaby Yep, this is a problem on my end as well. So far, I'm not sure what's causing it, but I'll see if I can get a fix going here. It might have to do with one of the Rakarth update patches, but I'm not entirely sure. In the meanwhile, go check out the new version I just put out that gives these units to all the High Elf LL's.

I can't see these new units on the unit roster for Alarielle. I have other units mods for other races that work okay. I even have other High Elf units added. Yours I cannot see in the roster though.
I haven't worked the Lord up to tier 3 buildings yet to check, are there just no unit cards in the building/town overlay for the Sisters of Avelorn building?

Wow, as a non-warhammer player I am just absolutely astonished by the unit cards. Never have I seen such master of photoshop to create a style such as these. They really made me want to start designing unit cards for my own games such as Among Us and Craven Moorhead on FIFA *heart eyes *heart eyes UwU

@Naitsab Glad it’s working for you man! You should consider getting into modding a little yourself. Your suggestions were super helpful! (Also re: fear, I didn’t think it was a big deal. Maybe they’re so powerful magically that it scares the other army. It’s a staple of most small entity infantry units, which is why in include it)

@Alice I thought about it, but Avelorn is the only hef faction I really like at the moment. Still, if you reeeeaaalllyyy want it, I’ll make a version which gives them to the rest of the factions

alright that did the trick. i'm not much of an expert, but i'd say it's much better now. i still don't get why you made them cause fear, but that's not a game breaker.

@Naitsab I think the problem might be on your end, since I'm seeing completely different stats after that previous update. I put out a new update just now (without changing anything), and they have 53 md (w/ buffs), and around 52 or so weapon strength (27 ap). It might just be a weird technical issue, but maybe try reinstalling the mod if the changes aren't going through.

not sure if the issue is with me, but it looks the same (or at least very similar) to before. they have 72 weapon strength (42 ap) and with all their buffwork they get up to 62 melee defence in custom battle. and not sure if i missed that before, but a few elven babes seriously shoudn't cause fear ;)

@Chosen of Slaanesh Sorry mate, I enjoy modding my game to hell and back, and don't really know how to balance for SFO. Anyone is welcome to create an SFO version if they'd like though (all I ask for is credit). it's not difficult, even if you don't have modding experience

@Naitsab Hey man, I appreciate the feedback! Your criticism was well-founded, and I put out an update significantly dropping the melee stats for the mage initiates.
They were meant to be more of a holding unit using their dampen effect to create opportunities for units with magical attacks. Now they're much less godlike, and definitely won't do much damage to any high-tier units in melee, but won't just fold over for a while either (unless faced with high-tier armor-piercing).
I think they're in a pretty good niche now, but feel free to let me know what you think. Cheers!

i'd say the initiates are very cool but OP, as they are potent enough in melee to beat shielded chaos chosen and iron breakers with relative ease. combined with the area buffs/debuffs and spells like net and greater arcane conduit this is just too good for the cost. if you want this as a supprt unit with all those abilities i'd suggest nerfing their damage and melee stats by quite a bit.
