can we have part 7 pleassseeee ?????
Modoc73 Jun 26, 2019 @ 9:54pm
Was ok. 1,2,3 was like "walk to map 4 where the tests begin". The first test, map 4 was alright. Map 5 didn't use all elements.
Nice map making though, but no challenge.

This was a good series other than the final "battle".

This is a fantastic collection, very clever and creative. Polished tests, dialogue, and atmosphere. I'm really impressed by how well the story and conversations played out without seeming stilted as can often happen with the limited lines available.
Poor Wheatley!

:p2blue:Really cool little story/mod, you should compil it into a mod like the portal : mel mod.
A bit short but had a great time, thanks a lot :) :p2orange:

Felt like I was being watched constantly after finding that disk in Episode 2, and with the doors closing behind me. If Ghost of Rattman played there I would have quit pretty quick haha
Good maps!

I've gotta say, I thouroughly enjoyed this bunch of maps. You made an excellent use of voices, and pretty much everything that was already in the game. To tell a story with just that and not have it be terrible, is an excellent thing in it's own right. The levels where rather easy, however they required enough thinking to achieve that "Ah-hah" moment when you finally complete it. I like the "boss fight" there, I thought that testing track was going crash into the room we where in xD

Good fun little campaign. Thanks for making, it's much appreciated. :p2orange:

Like all 6 levels, but I think no. 5 was a little weaker than the rest; not bad, but not up to the standard of the other either.

DR3y  [author] Feb 2, 2015 @ 5:14pm
Actually cosmogony and cosmology are opposite words.
Pedestria Feb 2, 2015 @ 4:01pm
Awesome map series! The storyline is great, the design is great, and the tests are great. THOUGH one problem:p2aperture:. The fog is way too thick, in my opinon. Try selecting a different fog, like tuberide fog, or turn down the starting distance of the fog:p2wheatley:.

Yo one more thing:p2orange:. COSMOGONY is not a real word. Cosmology is. It means the study of outer space and stars, or known as astronomy. It makes no sense to have that as the name of the series. Try using a diffrent name like: "Aperture Troubles" or "Countdown To Danger".
I've created "Aperture Shutdown" and it's very simular to this series. I'm not trying to criticize or anything, I just wanted you to know.

Anyway, this series is the best! :SocialPolicy:.
Pedestria Feb 2, 2015 @ 3:34pm
Thanks for the map, hopefully it works:p2aperture:.

I pushed subscribe to all & I don't know how to actually make the game play. It didn't do anything haha.

Thank you so much for speedrunning my map pack! :)
And yes, it is a world record! Congratulations, I'm impressed with all that bunny hopping (I fail hard at it)
Still you could've saved around 30 seconds on the first map, as you can see in the comments sections from youtube. But again, thanks for playing and enjoying my maps!
PunchingTree Sep 8, 2014 @ 4:39pm
Hi Dreey,
you suggested PsYcHo he could save "some seconds" in his Cosmogony speedrun.
I, too, did a run you might like.
http://youtu.be/B0_EZJ0GC-M
I saved 1:27:10 compared to PsYcHo -> My time = 13:12:50

Great maps :)

That one part in part 6 where you use momentum to get to the ledge with portals is infuriating. I literally had to use noclip to get up there.
zcoop98 Aug 18, 2014 @ 9:12pm
The best map series i've ever played on the workshop. Period. Everything about this series was well done, masterfully created, just absolutely incredible! So much fun to play and experience. No words can convey how awesome this is. Fantasic job :D

I'm glad you enjoyed it :) I did one of Stasis too, but that one is a nightmare. Especially the cube stacking at the beginning, cubes are so unpredictable I hate anything that involves them. But yeah, I'm pretty sure there is a lot of time to be saved in the cosmogony one. But my first blind playthrough was yesterday, I worked out a route straight after, then practised and recorded it today so obviously it leaves a lot to be desired >.<
