Also he's hot
10/10
Apparently, after uninstall, the game simply deleted all my high leveled modded heroes but I am starting to see Veiled in the Stagecoach again.
Thanks for help anyway <3
I don't know why it says He can't die to Blight, when I just lost him to blight
HE DIES TOO MUCH X'DD
I had to install a resurrection Mod to keep bringin him back, because each time he reaches Death'Door in order to play his most powerful skills, the enemy AI decides to nuke him with quadruple bleed-blight, and infinite stuns.
Now i have a headcanon: Veiled actually loves to live in the graveyard~.
"... Let me guess"
"... Yeah, don't disturb me please, this coffin is comfy".
"Uhum".
I love him, he is my fav pal.
Seeing how his balancing pivots on self-sacrifice, and the fact that he is limited to 1 per party anyway, it should probably be a quirk for Veiled's potential patients only. And so, making him unable to spawn with or acquire this quirk would be needed.
Before, you said that players might not like to bloat the quirk pool, but there is a perfect solution used by Marvin Seo - simply make the quirks an add-on mod! This satisfies everyone.
Does his unique "-n% deathblow chance" debuff surpass the game's 85% hard cap on deathblow resist?
If he applies a -15% debuff to an enemy and that enemy attacks a max Death Blow resist character, can it kill?
What about a DoT applied by this debuffed enemy?
As i said before, marking self while also damaging self, as long as Deathblow Resist is >0%, will ALWAYS be a bad idea.
Out of the box, this class is a "bring a guard unit or have a terrible time" deal. Not good. Base game only has 2 guardsmen, and modded hero creators include guarding skills sparingly, not to mention the combat turns that are spent just to babysit the Veiled.
The competition is stiff; Vestal, primarily. Once i buffed Veiled by removing self mark, he became an actual valid substitute - a solid improvement over Vestal for mark-oriented teams, and of course, i gained more freedom in team composition.
He is a level 0 Hippocratic, wearing modded trinkets:
Cicada Shell (+20 PROT, +20 Healing Received, -30 bleed and blight resist)
Frenetic Rites (+25 Stun Resist, +20 Healing Skills, Never Virtue, +15% Stress if Afflicted)
he is NOT below 70% HP but Enfeeblement and Give to the Living show and apply their "below 70% HP" effects. Enfeeblement debuffs enemy Dodge and Give cures Bleed. The "below 0% hp" Death Wish is not available.
I didnt notice this before. Pretty sure i would have if it did happen.
Can someone give me a hint on how to play this guy?
I tried to aim for death door to use skill 6 and 7. Guess what, I already loose two characters. Even with a maxed death blow resist. When relying on withering chant, he stays on top HP, and don't benefit from the various low HP bonus.
I'm confused here. I want to like this hero, I'm just not sure what to do with him. Or should I just consider him as a primary healer?
Keep up the good work ^^
normal brainer: Veiled is a class that can play a greater role in adverse situations, it can sometimes change or even reverse disadvantages.
smooth brainer: can only play Veiled with low hp.
What about mark self? It may not be the way to buff the veiled but im adamant he does need a buff of some sort. And i dont like having to rely on guarding units every time i bring the veiled along - this limits party comp options
