Hi mate, just reporting a minor issue:
Some text files seem to be missing. For example, Roman Swordsmen or Hoblites special abilities buttons appear, but no window or name of the ability appears. I am assuming its "At the Centurion command" and another one.

Another example: At the beginning of a turn, illustrated windows appear, but no text. I can assume its some kind of notification about some event.

Perhaps I am missing something?

Does historical characters spawn in the campaigns? For example Caesar and Octavian in their time

Is anyone else having a problem where whenever they fight a battle in a campaign the screen just goes black. I can still hear everything and the battle is happening but the screen is just black. This only happens when I manually fight the battle and only during campaigns. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that hasn't worked, I turned off any other mods I was using and that didn't change anything. This is preventing me from fighting any battles manually. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hey. Is field artillery available for the Celts, Germans or Iberian factions in the campaign, e.g. ballista? It is available in custom battles, but not in the campaign. Research unlocked, building built e.g. carpenter, and artillery units are not available. They are not included in the building's description either. Is it planned in the mod that not all factions have artillery available in the campaign?

why is it that my Provence has positive public order going in by the end of the turn but whenever I end the turn I continue to get a rebellion. Then when I kill the rebellion and end the turn with a positive net public order change, another one appears. So its like an endless cycle

@Red Warrior, which faction? I am playing Spartans in the Peloponnesian War (yeah, cringe, I know ;) ) and I find the units vibrant enough. The Hoplites are colorful like a carnival crowd sometimes :D the same when I was playing Macedon in Grand Campain ... but maybe other factions are more bland.

I don't understand the design approach you guys have chosen. The UI, Map and the Unit Card Design are so vibrant and radiant I loved it very much. But the Unit Models are based on historical facts that they look bland and doesn't even match the Design approach, it feels inconsistent. According to me the Unit design should be vibrant and colorful just like the Slick UI, Cool Unit Cards and Beautiful Map instead of being Realistic(Your UX Design approach is so vibrant and colorful as it looks fun and inviting whereas the Unit Model design approach is gritty, nonchalant and uninviting ). The unit design approach is what is stopping me from fully immersing in this Beautiful Mod. But it is okay you don't have to take my word as it is just an observation from my side. Thank you for your hard work on this mod.

Why can't I see the combat odds for a battle? When a battle is initiated and the odds are shown for my forces vs the enemy, all I see is an empty slider with no odds shown? Is there a fix?

I'm playing Para Bellum mod with everything activated, and when I zoom out all the way on the campaign map there are graphical distortions that makes it appear like there's a dent in the middle of my screen. It goes vertically down when I zoom back in - after 3 "scroll steps" it's no longer visible. But when fully zoomed out, it's in the center.

there's a bug in the roman military research, where on the 3rd research for infantry it appears the tier 4 auxiliary garrison but it appears also on the last research and when I do the 3rd research it simply doesn't let me build the auxiliary garrison, wich I was kinda in need of the unit since my population was kinda low and I couldn't really recruit roman units. And there's also a problem with hoplites and pikeman, I encircled a unit of heavy etruscan hoplites with 1 of triari and 2 of hastati and the 3 units where "losing decisively" where does that make sense?????? the only thing that could potentialy kill them was rear charging the unit with very heavy shock cavalry and still they would only break if I charged them like 6 times WHILE SORROUNDED FROM ALL SIDES.

loving the mod, but I got one issue with population, when I conquer a settlement the population decline as hell and the settlements that I started with, the population barely grows and also decline very much, while I got the right buildings,food surplus and public order stable.

So am I doing something wrong here or is the population mod not working as it should?

On turn 79 and keep getting Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error and then CTD. Any reason why this happens?

So I worked out supply, if you hover your mouse to the left of the food icon it sort of explains it, however i have my own issue, the war weariness? Currently only at was with slaves and just had a pop-up warning me of war weariness?

War Weariness is kind of broken. If a faction you are at war with decides to join a confederation, you will be at war with the old nation forever. There's no way to make a peace with them, since they no longer exist. It won't even show up on the diplomacy screen as a war you're engaged in- but you are still technically at war, since other nations can offer to join in the war against the faction that no longer exists.Which means war weariness just keeps increasing indefinitely. And this is hardly a rare occurrence. Factions are most likely to join a confederation when they've lost most of their armies.

hello i asked this under the PB-Campaign page but can someone explain exactly how the supply system works? how long can an army be in foreign territory before attrition begins? it seems random in my game. one army lasted three turns, another got it immediately.

Anyone else get a black screen whenever they try to fight a battle. Mod manager says they are all up to date but when I try to play a warning saying out of date mods being used. I have restarted my game, unsubscribed and resubscribed to this mod and restarted my computer but still whenever I try to manually fight a battle I always get a black screen.

I can hear sound and see the Total War cursor but everything else is black.

Woof, I forgot how carefully you have to play things as a small faction and got thrashed as the Gutones lmao. Got overwhelmed because the guys to the east declared war on their first turn, and when I went to take them out the Lugii ran an army up and stole my capital, forcing me to rebuild in that corner. I really screwed up by thinking the port's garrison +a small fleet could handle the rebellion that spawned soon after on their own.

Then I ended up in a neverending war with the newly-risen tribe that popped out of the rebellion, the Lugii, and the damn Suebi took a trade agreement with me and as soon as I was weak decided that I would be better as part of their territory. The Gutones definitely need that melee defense buff they get for their faction bonus, haha. I only made it through some of the battles I did because of it.

Can you add a call to war button for satrapies and client states? I hate risking all my clients declaring war at me at once because they decide not to join.

Hi! I've recently started to play this Mod and so far it seems to be a well-rounded mod offering much more in content, with a very completed and polished feel, unlike a lot of other mods. Although this isn't related to the functioning of the game itself, I was wondering if you could cite one of the loading screen images I really liked. It had a ancient settlement in the background, a river in the middleground from left to right, and some other smaller structures and natural scenery in the foreground. I'd be much obliged.

@ Sunbird: If you subscribe to this mod, it will only download the Collection. What you comment is very strange, and it's the first time I've heard anything like this.

@ BloodyCrow: I'll check the bug. About the resupply system I want to improve it in the next versions, so I note the suggestion.

@Cuendillar: Check the rebellion chance to avoid that issues. when you start a new campaign you have a message explaining where to check it.

I thought in the collection are some parts includet. But when i subscribe the collection it automatically downloads all parts seperatly. So the collection makes no sense in my opinion.

You should be able to resupply in lands with military access. Maybe in exchange for gold per turn like buying supplies.

Had a public order issue recently playing as Kush. After triggering a rebellion there was a rebellion every single turn even though my public order would not tick over to -100.
-80 total after the rebel army spawns
Kill the army
Public order declining by -6
Rebellion the next turn
Repeat infinitely.

Para Bellum Campaign:

- The rosters of Cyrenaica and Cyprus were expanded, to make these factions more interesting to play and differentiate them more between them and with Egypt, but maintaining a slight influence for historical reasons.
- Additionally, the bug where Egypt could not recruit war elephants was fixed.

Updated effects:

- Now you can spark the buildings with the incendiary artillery, and they will burn with big flames and smoke columns. In addition, depending on the material they can end up with a nice deflagration.
- The effects of artillery hits on terrain have been improved, with a new artillery impacts texture and raising dirt. Also the incendiary artillery effects on the terrain are improved, with the terrain burning, etc.
- The properties of many particles has been enhanced: now the blood will remain the whole battle duration; the smoke and fire effects, the dust raised by the troops, the desert wind or the snow in the blizzard, are no longer limited by the rendering distance.
- The dust effects now are adapted to each type of terrain (snow, grass, mud, desert).
- Volcanic eruptions on the campaign map.
- No FPS impact noticed, in comparison with the previous version.
