Please update :steamthumbsup:
Darkborderman  [author] May 12, 2024 @ 9:40pm
@Gman It requires 1 amount of medicine category, so I thought it may work even if medicine has changed.
Gman May 12, 2024 @ 10:49am
Is this compatible with mods that change medicine, like Medieval Medicines Medieval Overhaul Edition?
Tuck Davis May 8, 2024 @ 8:42am

I've been busy updating another mods now.

1.5 update?
Fox Feb 20, 2024 @ 7:48pm
This doesn't work for animals, or at least it doesn't work for thrumbos in particular.

@Retha thank you!
Retha Dec 29, 2023 @ 2:07am
This is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!
Darkborderman  [author] Jun 5, 2023 @ 8:31am
@StepMurp sorry for the late response, I just port it to 1.4 and didn't notice it has new permanent damage type. I'll add it when I back to Rimworld modding.
Darkborderman  [author] Jun 5, 2023 @ 8:30am
@Vaarelsauce by tested I can confirm it can cure brain scars if only enable this mod.
Vaarelsauce Jun 5, 2023 @ 2:05am
Is it possible to cure Brain scars? I'm not sure if I see the options available...(I also have EPOE installed, if that matters)
StepMurp Mar 16, 2023 @ 10:41pm
Noticed an issue where the"Blasted" permanent injury doesn't give you an option to cure it. Other than that it's a great mod!

drizzypuffs Jul 5, 2022 @ 3:51pm
If you want the cost to be more (the lazy way), then just murder one of your farm animals or something lol
Toyota AE86 Feb 27, 2022 @ 10:13pm
Any chance this could be made to work for animals as well?
[RTB] Sarianos Sep 15, 2021 @ 11:30pm
@Darkborderman Cheers, I'll have a go messing about with it sometime over the weekend.
Darkborderman  [author] Sep 15, 2021 @ 11:24pm
@[RTB] Sarianos I'm not pretty sure on how to make it. This mod are just add some simple defs to remove injuries with no part restriction.

Here's my original source code, you can take the code and modify the cure price on your own.

@Darkborderman bit late to the party here but ditto on what PremierVader suggested, though I'd take it a little further and say that scars should take a few herbal meds, organ damage a few industrial meds along with moderate medical skills and brain damage should need glitter-world meds and a high medical skills to balance it all out..
PremierVader Aug 13, 2021 @ 8:27am
Love you man its a great mod! I suggest balanicng it a bit by making it cost more than 1 medicine (more like 3 to 5 seems about right).
DeLuuk Jul 27, 2021 @ 9:08am
@Darkborderman no thank you man!
Darkborderman  [author] Jul 27, 2021 @ 8:50am
@DeLuuk The mod is updated to 1.3 now, thanks again!
Darkborderman  [author] Jul 25, 2021 @ 10:15pm
@DeLuuk thanks for the reminder.
I'll check how to update to 1.3 (Currently workable in 1.3 but will has compatibility warnings)
DeLuuk Jul 25, 2021 @ 5:17am
Are you planning on updating to 1.3?
Darkborderman  [author] Apr 13, 2021 @ 9:12am
@zoura3025 Currently this mod only works for scars. I think it will be too overpowered if asthma or alzheimers can be cured in this simple way.
zoura3025 Apr 11, 2021 @ 12:08pm
Does this mod work on permanent conditions like asthma or alzheimer's, or is it just scars?
Geojak Feb 16, 2021 @ 1:58pm
Using permanent solar flare for a medieval run. Man you are a genius!
Rachel_Wulf Feb 16, 2021 @ 6:52am
so then there's a key difference between this and the Glitterworld Medicine one, it allows regrowing 'Small' Body parts like fingers and toes, so this mod is nowhere near as Overpowered as i initially thought. :P
Darkborderman  [author] Feb 16, 2021 @ 6:50am
The mod can only fix scars and injuries. If the colonist's body parts is missing or being destroyed this mod can't help to get their parts back.
Rachel_Wulf Feb 16, 2021 @ 6:08am
one thing i thought of that might be a different though, does this one allow your colonists to get their fingers and toes back? because if not, this is probably less OP than i was thinking in the first place. XD
Darkborderman  [author] Feb 16, 2021 @ 6:06am
@Alexander Anderson Now I understand, thanks!:steamthumbsup:
Rachel_Wulf Feb 16, 2021 @ 5:38am
@Darkborderman That's practically the opposite of my run, i'm using a mod that makes Solar Flares a lot less common. XD

Don't worry too much about changing the mod to suit me, as long as it feels balanced to you. :P
Darkborderman  [author] Feb 15, 2021 @ 11:47pm
@Alexander Anderson thanks, I'll modify it to make it a bit balanced (success rate, etc.).

The scenario I use has permanent solar flare to disable the use of electricity(medieval only), therefore Glitterworld Medicine is basically unavailable in the run(can't trade with exotic ship). In order to cure my colonists' scar under this condition I created this mod.
Rachel_Wulf Feb 15, 2021 @ 11:31am
a little bit overpowered, i use a similar mod that does almost the same thing, but requires Glitterworld Medicine, and that already is common enough for me to prevent scars. nice to see more options popping up though.
Darkborderman  [author] Feb 15, 2021 @ 9:44am
@AngryHornet thanks for the compliment!
