@deltagamer How or where would I have to modify this mod so that the outside passengers could shoot the same way as the one in the back?

I just want to point out that the unarmed SUV still has a "gunner" seat, which sticks the occupant's view somewhere just outside the windshield mirror and makes them invisible inside the vehicle

thats fine can you make it a choice to choose to open can close window and door seperately and make the mini gun operator to move the turret inside the suv the turn out

My only option to allow that would also make the user be able to shoot when the door/window is closed which would give an unfair advantage as its basically a one way shield for the rear gunner to fire from

but if you make it like the vanilla SUV there will be no need for this mod, I love this mod alot. I think if you make the doors a little more bullet proof it will be a fun mod to use. The base game SUV is there if you want more realism.

I'll see what I can do with the penetration, will more than likely make it exactly like the vanilla suv and allow the glass to be destroyed. I have a good amount added to the to-do list but will hold off for a little longer to allow more reports

I retest it. The door can't even stop base game 9mm bullet. I tried empty the whole pistol magazine and driver died.

Good work Deltagamer, but yeah its a little bit weird that the windows are bulletproof like a tank but you can easily shoot through the door like it's paper.

I don't mind that the glass is very durable. (Penetrable but hard to break) but please increase the door and hull protection. It funny to see the glass can stop .338 but the door can't stop 5.56mm.

I agree with ahappyteddybear, I personally love the idea of this really strong SUV that can take an absolute beating, however, that being said, i do think it should be toned down just a little. For example really strong windows, but not completely indestructible. Another example would be a really strong engine block, but not 20mm proof. I just believe that the engine and fuel would break before the hull did. The SUV and Armored SUV from CUP already do a great job at providing a stock/slightly modified SUV with a minigun, and i think this mod with be better suited towards an upgraded Armored SUV like the one we seen in CUP.

there is a base game SUV that is more balanced i think this should stay the way it is, This vehicle reminds me of Nick Fury's SUV from capt America civil war. I love this mod its amazing

Vehicle is overall near-indestructible when attacked by lower calibers (12.7mm and below) and Vehicle components almost never break, excluding the Hull and Wheels.

I'll change the penetration so the glass is weaker, idea was the glass can't be broken as iirc the A2 version was like that to simulate bulletproof glass

Windows are way to strong. Unbreakable, rounds will kill by penetrating door, before they penetrate the glass. Glass can take hundreds of .50 caliber rounds (CUP and RHS M107 used)

@SPECFOR I'll maybe slow it down and regarding that turn out thing I think I would have to edit arma functions or include a script into this mod which I don't fancy doing

when you use the second gunner from the trunk, and you have a targeted weapon, as you choose to close the window, the barrel protrudes through the glass, does not hide automatically.

the model is bugged, no damage even when hit with rpg, .50 cal no penetration for weels, egine or glass, waiting for fix

@Deltagamer - 1. in my opinion, the vehicle is too fast (200km/h,125mph). The braking force is too weak if you compare it to vehicles from arma3.

2. If you place a tank in the editor and put it on safe, the crew will look out of the hatches. When there is danger, the crew goes back into the vehicle and closes the hatches. The same, just the other way around would be great for the SUV. Only when there is a threat does the turret pop up and shoot, and then move back in again.

What's the issue with the breaks? I'll need to check when I get the chance but I'm pretty sure it stops? Also that hidden turret can be achieved with scripting in mission, keeps any scripts out the add-on that way

Is there a version with the turret door but do not have a turret, so the gunner would turn out and use his own weapon?
