Mod is forcing game to crash - It may be conflicting with another mod but Im not sure which would do this?

It might be my certain combination of mods, but adding this mod makes the game crash when I check the faction "what they will buy" menu, it didn't seem to do this before, idk.

errors are NOT minor, traders most of the time won't spawn in anymore and just produces a bunch of red text

hi ive only used this mod since i think v1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 (im still in v1.2 with 500 mods and its hard to migrate the savegame to latest quickly), but are you sure it is preventing use of comms console?

in all the versions ive played it, it never caused a conflict for me (and i have several trade mods too)
are you sure its not a possible mod conflict?

what happens if you just try a fresh vanilla game + this mod, does it still prevent comms console?

@saintbrutal - really wish i had checked here sooner lol. I just spent literally all day rebuilding a 300+ mod modlist trying to sort this out. Literally the last mod I checked because I thought it was "safe"

i think people should be aware that this mod breaks the stock. this mod is outdated and in need of an update fix.

@zhrocks11 FrozenSnowFox dropped a dropbox link in the "error messages in 1.4" discussion thread on Nov 26th 2022 that nominally fixes most of the issues, I suggest you merge it into the mod proper.
I concur with FSF's reasoning that either you (or somebody you give the mod up to) should maintain it properly rather than host a patch themselves on steam.
I would direct link, but steam is removing them in comments as they did to FSF further down.

you could also try drafting everyone at the time of the lag, and then just un-drafting the chef to see what happens :)

hi what happens if you remove the analyzer and then try cooking again?
(you can check in your debug log in game (or dev mode) or the player.log file to see if anything in particular is spamming the log, but also when you get the lag, is there a particular recipe you are trying to make? maybe changing the bill can fix it (pointing to a particular, possibly modded recipe?)

i havent played much in 1.4 (other than quicker games/testing etc) but i never noticed this mod before causing any cooking issues (for example in v1.2 i have multiple chefs using multiple stoves making medieval weak stews and smoked meats) :lunar2019piginablanket:

No idea why this mod makes my game slow to a crawl when my pawns are cooking. It could be because I installed dubs performance analyzer (this mod was accidentally taken out when I put dubs in) but since I don't think that's what dubs mod does, and people are saying there's error messages with this one; I'm gonna guess it's this mod lol

@Lyt it will still work, heres the location for manually installing mods if you have the default steam location C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods

Will it still work with error messages? I haven't tried yet. I dl'n the patch someone made, but don't know how to install it as steam mods don't go to folder.

Hey, I was wondering if you'd be willing to make this not require hugslib? Because hugslib is severely broken at the moment and is messing up a ton of mods and it doesn't seem like it's going to be fixed any time soon, if at all.

btw can i check if traders/orbitals of "slaver" can sometimes appear without any actual people you can buy? (ive had some in my game, in v1.2, and also saw some screenshots of another's game in 1.4 and the trader only had items, not actual people

is this possible/likely to happen, or have people been removed from trading somehow?

@银空夜月 If you want to troubleshoot the problem youre going to have to work out which mods are causing the issue on your end. Without that information no mod author will be able to help you sadly.

(always make a backup of your ludeon folder and saves etc, before testing so you can get back to how things are, in case of a mistake etc) :)

hi if you want to check for conflicts, you can try editing your mod config file, and cutting out all other mods apart from this one, and then trying a new game as a test... if you still see red errors then it could be from here, but if you dont, then it is very likely something else is causing it.

(i have almost 500 mods in my 1.2 playthrough and the mod seems to always work fine for me)
for mod testing, you can also try a test with reducing your modlist by 50%, and seeing if you still have any issues, and then within 8 tests, you can usually pinpoint which mod has problems.) :)

When I load this mod, a large number of error red words appear. I have used more than 500 mods at the same time. I cannot confirm which mods are in conflict

I was waiting for zhrocks11 to fix the errors but they don't seem like they'll be coming back for a while. I went through the errors and modified the stockgenerators to match the new vanilla style to fix the errors. I also modified the packageid changing _copy to .local. It stops rimpy throwing errors and you can remain subscribed to this mod without Rimworld throwing errors so you'll know when the mod updates properly.

Here's a copy of the fixed version.

For removing _copy error open about file and delete _copy from packageID line, it will be <packageId>zhrocks11.letstrade</packageId>. Its gonna remove _copy error from rimpy
