Yes, it works fine and unlike the +4 settlement building mod it gives Temple of Skulls the extra slots, don't know why the other mod doesn't work. Unfortunately the Lords of the last update aren't selectable.

So, this mod actually still works fine for me. I'm just wondering if there's a version without the more building slots? Settlements like Skavenblight get far, far, far too many for my liking.

This mod is what you'd call "abandoned". The author has been on pretty much every day all this time but hasn't said a word. You can't use rakarth with the mod but otherwise it works aside from a few bugs that were already in it (norsca settlements only 6 slots when conquered by another race, wood elf settlements and sacred pools same thing except only like 5 slots unlocking one at a time per level). It would take editing the startpos file to update it and I guess that isn't an easy fix. You can look in the comments below for a few solutions to use with rakarth. Many of us got pretty desperate and started discussing ideas. HazardHawk posted the best combo of mods to use I would say. Its not the same amount of slots but its the best option we have.

For anyone wondering, you can change the slots unlocked per level in p0xus's unlocker mod using PFM but you can't get more than the maximums that he has set. It must be something in startpos that caps it. His unlocker only has 14 slots (like this one) for a few of the bigger cities. Other province capitals are only 12 or in the case of norsca, 10. I left a comment on his mod thread asking if its possible to make a version of his mod with an increase of all cities to 14 as this mod does. Or maybe someone knows how to do that in startpos? Anyway, hoping for the best cause 10 or 12 slots just sucks. 14 is a great number!

@HazardHawk - You win the internet. By the gods, it works even though the mods say they won't!

@everyone else here- follow HazardHawk's links and use those three mods in KMM. I also threw in the "Change your capital" mod and tested by moving a capital with rakarth. Everything works as needed so essentially you can almost exactly replicate this mod. Only thing left to do is see if I can add a few extra slots to the slot mod as it has less than Jacquel's and I prefer the higher amount. Thanks again HazardHawk! You just made my week!

@allroysaves use the native order in lining up mods just like always in KMM.

In this particular case, slot mod at top, mix next, landmarks next. They do not have to all be together and can have other mods between like normal

Looking through the mod to see if I could fix it, it seems to be several mods merged using Kaedrins launcher.

Combo in proper order works with many other mods intermingled in proper order as long as nothing else changes startpos.

@Coatsey - Those mods say they don't work together though. Quote from that landmarks mod- "Important: mod WON'T work with More Building slots mod. This mod has nothing to do with it - More Slots are incompable with Mixu's Unlocker."

Is there any chance that someone else has any clue how to update this? Sometimes after an author ghosts, I figure out how to fix stuff myself and continue using it. Admittedly, I never bother to post or explain to anyone on the mod's thread about how to fix it. That's my bad. Maybe some champion of the internet is a far better person that I am and has figured out how to fix it. Mayhaps they could share their knowledge? I think at this point, you could reasonably publish a fix with a "I'll take this down when the mod author says something" disclaimer. You can't ask permission for such a thing when the author hasn't even responded all this time despite being online pretty much every day since the update. No disrespect meant btw- I understand that mod creation is volunteer work and life comes first. Though at this point, i'd paypal a few bucks for this god damn mod to be fixed so I can play Ramsey.
@Coatsey - problem with the mixu is no slots. Just can't play with default slots

Honestly no point in requesting for him to update this he hasn't responded once to anyone's comments by the looks of it while being online , it's a damn shame cause it's such a must needed mod, but if yous need something as close to it then try mixus version

Request please... Will you please strip out all the unmodified tables and lines? There is enough overlap with many mods it becomes a choice of this one or several other mods. I worked on doing this for me, but I do need to know what lines have been modified other than the ones named jacquel. Other than this, you did a great job.

Mod seems to be mostly working fine since the Rakarth patch, however the main settlement on albion, Konquata now caps out at tier 3 so the landmark can't be built, could you look into it?

@Carnage - Now I get why i've been so confused. The mod isn't working for you either. What you are seeing are landmarks that are in game already. Nagronath was just added to albion for instance. If you don't see goat island at monument of the moon, the mod isn't working.

@Gwenolric- what i'm doing to make it fail is that i'm not a mod creator. I'm just a guy that opens PFM and looks through stuff and tries to make sense of it. I can generally get good results but not with this. I've removed the startpos sections and the campaign_building_chain_slot_unlocks_table part and it still doesn't work. Theres something else in there pointing to the startpos sections or the slots section but I can't figure out what it is. A standalone version of the landmarks mod would be a godsend. All I see on here is this and ones tied to MIXU or CFU which I don't use.

Guys, instead of spamming a thread, just add yourself as friend and talk there? Also, there is no need to have a startpos for this mod, as the previous standalone one was not a startpos which was great. I could add a startpos mod that I liked, now I can't.
Also, just adding new building does not require a startpos, so I don't understand what you are doing to make it fail. A landmark is just a standard building, only you put in the landmark category instead of Economy/Garrison/Magic/ect.
Now mind you, the author added a slot unlock with a startpos. So you have to make sure to remove all the unlocks on the settlements. If idk, Athel Loren has 10 slot normally and this mod makes level 5 gives 14, the game will bug out without the startpos part.

@allroysaves i did what you did and have the same result, although some of the landmarks do exist, such as the nagronath in albion in vortex campaign. So my guess is, some of the land marks were based on startpos. that is a huge problem, bc startpos editing is a pain in the ass...i know how to edit startpos with esf editor for empire total war, but i cant open warhammer startpos with esf editor and the esf editor havnt updated for many years. i heard there is a xml editing method and it is kinda complicated, but you can find some guides on twcenter.net .

@Carnage for Khaine - I tried your way and it didn't work. Opened his mod, deleted only the campaign section, saved, no dice. I test with new Morathi game by just sailing down to monument of the moon and taking it. There is supposed to be a landmark called "Goat Island" there and it doesn't show up. Tested with no other mods whatsoever. With the new version; nothing. When I put it back to original version; goat island is there. I'm using KMM and made a save game with the mod on and then deactivated it and tried to reload game. The save game says I am missing the mod so it definitely registers when i use it, it just doesn't work. There definitely is something in those start pos files that stop the mod from working for me when I take them out. I wish there was a better startpos editing tutorial out there. I really want to play with this but someone earlier here said they tried to edit it and it broke everything.

@Jacquel - If you have the time to drop a quick comment, I can work my way around PFM a bit but i've never attempted to edit startpos files. Is the issue with this mod something simple in the way of just adding rakarth's name or faction to a list? Or is it complicated? If its something that can be done quick I might attempt to figure it out as I'm just waiting on this mod to play a rakarth campaign. If its complicated then i'll have to just wait until you have the time to do it or possibly see if someone else can figure it out and will be kind enough to ask permission to share it? Thanks for any info and thanks for making this mod that is definitely a required mod for me.

@Carnage for Khaine - I created a new mod and added all but the "campaign" section from his pack. Maybe I accidentally missed something. I'll try your way next. The only other problem would be the slots mod you pointed out. It doesn't have as many slots as jacquel's and that sucks. The one I used has 22 but it starts out with all 22 unlocked and I don't really like that either! Do you know if its possible to edit the amount of slots unlocked per level in PFM on that "More building slots (unlocked)" to increase the amount to jacquel's ? Or would that require editing startpos? Thanks!

I merely open jacquel's mod with pfm and delete the "campaign" at the top, without even changing his tables' name, jacquel. i feel its pretty much plagiarism, so i only use it for myself and dont want to publish it.

@Carnage for Khaine - I'm attempting to make landmarks a standalone mod as you suggested but i can't get them to work. When I opened Jacquel's mod in PFM I pretty much just copied out everything (db, ui, text, variable something or other) but left the top thing (campaign? I think?) alone since thats where the startpos tables are. Game works fine with rakarth and more slots works (I use a 22 slot version I found called gypsy's unlocker or something like that) but the landmarks don't show up. Any help on what you did? Or did I take too much out ? Or leave something crucial behind? Thanks for any help

I may have a solution everyone. I now use the change your capital mod and more building slots (unlocked)mod, which solved norsca settlement problem. and i cut the landmarks of the old world part from this mod made it a standalone landmark mod. i havnt found out landmark mod changes anything in startpos, neither does the faction unlocker version landmark mod change things from startpos, so i dont get it that why landmark mod need to be incorporated into startpos mods.

i guess we can use the faction unlocker version landmark mod with out an actual faction unlocker, but the db in that mod is quite messy, while jacquel's landmark mod is the most clean-cut one ive seen.

@Warcommissar1: There is no faction in vanilla mode that has 22 buildings. But in combination with other mods like Sons of Asuryan, or Karak Eight Peaks for Clan Angrund. Or Agemouk's renowned Tomb Kings mod. Point being is that with these additions have alot of buildings and I want every capital city to have the slots to cover and 22 is the max I think. Jacquel said he or she would make one that maxed out the slots but that was months ago. :I
