Those are all great choices. Rockefeller fit the theme I was going for.

I understand that Rockefeller was a very important New Yorker, but I feel like another leader would be more suitable, preferrably a politician. Maybe Boss Tweed, Teddy Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, or Fiorello LaGuardia?

I've discovered that when this civ is enabled, any civ can build Ellis Island.

@SWAN - I believe so. It's a project I pick up and put down again every so often. Another user really wants this re-designed to be less NY City-centric, and I have some ideas along those lines. Just not a lot time...stupid real life.

Well if you do Washington, I'd either go for Hartford Nuclear Reservation or the Boeing Plant (which is still the largest building by volume last time I checked)

I added a unique national wonder to North Dakota, too - Minot Air Force Base (Requires Castles in all cities; extra city defense, +15 XP to air units trained here; +4 Uranium)

If there is a way to do it, I think every state should have a Unique National Wonder. Ellis Island or West Point could be New Yorks. Then the New York UB could be Skyscrapper. New Jersey's Unique National Wonder could be Edison's Lab.

@Lettuce - thanks! The no coal for factories should be workable through XML. Possibly the free factory also, I'd have to think about it. The other elements would be beyond my abilities to figure out. Your ideas are certainly in keeping with the soirit of the area - nice job!

@pian1234 - I didn't note in the documentation, but the American civ is disabled by this mod to prevent conflicts

Oh i hadent noticed the trend, but now that I do the logo makes sense.

I've been working on a Dominion of New England civ lately, being a fiercly loyal new englander living as an ex-pat in New York... Also on a Massachusetts civ with Adams as the leader. My current project is a civ based on inland new england using the back of the MA flag (its a pine tree ona white field with APPEAL TO HEAVEN on it, look it up) as the symbol and stuff. Worcester as the capitol. The biggest challenge is a special ability i want, no coal for factories and a free factory in the capital at industrial era. Because of the promenance of water power in the mill towns of new england. We didnt need no damn coal. Would also love to make a bonus allowing cities on rivers to have sea trade routes or build ships. Was thinking it would be good for erie canal special ability or maybe as an ability for the mississippy or st lawrence. But i've yet to figure out how to do that. Anyway nice civ as usual

@Andrew - thank you so much! It's been fun. I have some ideas for CA but not sure I can pull them off. There are Texas mods out there already, so that's a little lower on the priority list for me

I love state mods that you made so far; Texas and California civs might be some good ones to add.
