I had the solution in my hands, just take the refractor cube with me to the exit then drop it off the ledge in the right spot to activate the beam.
Twice I missed the drop, the third time it bounced off a discarded turret.
I ended up just noclipping through.
Don't get me wrong the solution is genius but it needs a wider margin of error imo. Especially since there are other physics objects in the room that can clog up the whole puzzle.
