@quandale dingle it should be self explanatory. when you create an addon it will add the folder in hlvr_addons. your addon can be any name you want as long as it has no capital letters and no punctuation besides underscores.

Oddly enough I'm not getting the generic issue if it not coming up in the model viewer. I've added it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life Alyx\game\hlvr_addons\Combine Horse, though it's not giving me much. Had I done something wrong here?

because its a read only asset and you can only change it back by removing the mod files
