Really great map! Fantastic to see someone has crafted this map theme so meticulously. I tried making something very similar but could never get TSL & resources to work properly. I played as Mansa Musa, TSL on + cultural start locations landed me in the South West of the Richat Structure (West Sahara - Atlantis). Science and gold absolutely took off, and by late game it was me vs Russia for science victory.

There are some people that say that the location of Atlantis was deliberately obscured by making people think the Pillars of Hercules was in the west (ie, Gibraltar) when the true pillars were to the east... the straits to the Black Sea. Int the north of the Black sea is a strait with a city on it and it's said that relics and evidence of an ancient city have been found in the area. Something to think about.

It's a tool to browse and edit databases, database browser. open the map file with it and then navigate to the starting locations and edit them in there.

Much as I would like to try this, I don't (yet) have all of the added civs though I do have the major dlc's. If I ever manage to get 'all' of my stimulus checks I might be able to afford them.:steamsad:

After enjoying your map with Portugal, I have a few suggestions to make it even better:

1) The CS selection list seems to be giving an error when I pick anything other than default. Therefore I cannot exclude some city states.

2) I think you should remove Granada from Iberia so that Portugal and Spain has more space to expand...

I am also wondering if we can add the Sukritact's natural wonders on this map.

It is TSL but i still do not know everything because of the extra stuff you put in there.

On second attempt it worked. Neither Crash not wrong spawn location.

Just tested again as Portugal, with Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands, and Granada. We all spawned in the correct spot, and I've had no issues so far up to turn 100. So I can't do much more without the list of mods and the error log. Even then, it''s pretty likely not on my mod's end, as this is basically just a map mod with altered starting locations for TSL.

The display error is even less likely to be from my mod, are your drivers updated?

I played for a couple hours last night as Portugal with Spain and Granada, and apart from them having to settle 1 tile away from their spawn it worked fine.

Hmm, any chance you can post the error message and or log? Are you running any other mods? And I hate to ask, but you did select the TSL map and not the random map correct? (Both are included in the mod)

Err . .
a.) it crashed on me, might be something else, i got a display error message.
b.) i started, as portual, with lisbon as my capital, to the south east of persia.
India was actually the first civ i met.
This does not seem right on TSL, as i should be starting west / south west of spain O.o

Should be updated for Portugal and Mogadishu, only tested 10 turns, but nothing should've really broke anyways. Let me know in bug reports if anything went wrong and I'll try to fix it quickly.

This map is just awesome, filling in nicely the usual Earth map with new continents. They are evenly spread, with not only an accurate placement of natural wonders, but also this is done in a clever way (for once there is a good spot on a map for the Bermuda Triangle). Only missing thing if I have to spot one would be the Ley Lines, I've never seen any and this makes nearly useless the Hermetic Order when playing with Secret Societies. Congratulations for a very nice piece of work.

I've heard it's possible that YNAMP has issues with Worldbuilder maps that don't use it's assignstartingpoints.xml but that's about all I can offer without knowing more sorry!

The map doesn't really alter anything, its just a worldbuilder map. So the only thing I could think of is a mod that explicitly says it would interfere with worldbuilder maps. If you post your mod list in the bug report I'll take another look at it but as far as taking a shot in the dark that's what I got.

Hello. Thank you for this card. I guess there are currently only tsls for official civilizations. I hope you will also put some for Adler's Atlantis (unfortunately OP, but there is no alternative currently), Captain Lime's Thule (Hyperborea) and Gedemo's Rapa Nui (the latter being according to less the best option to represent the Mu civilization since there is no Mu mod). Otherwise this card would lose a lot of its appeal in my opinion.

when you subscribe, make sure you go to additional content, and enable the mod and map enabled then it should show up in the map options.

@doxxar currently every spawn is based entirely of the standard starting bias random spawns. I'm currently working on TSL for all un modded civs, after that I can add them for modded ones hopefully. Dido and nubia have both spawned on atlantis for me before, but I admit it seems rare.

I play with the Atlantean Civ Mod and i tried a bazillion times to spawn on the atlantean continent, but most of the times i end up in Mu. Is it even possible to start on Atlantis?

@phos not yet, if I do make one it won't be for a long time as I want to polish this one and I'm still trying to get my sql file to load correctly so that TSL gets added to this. I would love to make the largest version of this I can but like I said this version first, and no promises lol.
