Yeah i definitely recommend uploading to the workshop if you can, makes it easier to report bugs or issues unless you'd prefer not to take the mod over (which is fair). You can change the package ID so it doesn't clash with this mod if need be.

It doesn't remove the health of the scar. It should remove the whole scar during the second or third dose. But idk sometimes it doesn't. Maybe it doesn't remove all scar types
