Hi! First of all thank you for this awesome mod. I have problems with some of my modded vehicles tho. Is there any way to add exception to the specific vehicle? I looked trough files - The problematic vehicles don't have all the seats defined.. Thanks!

It is because the author of that vehicle mod did not include all seats in the config. I am using this train myself in my games, so I will probable make a specific fix for that eventually. But it would be the best if the vehicle mod creators included every seat in the files

When you load a game or start a new one you click "Select Options" to open the list of mods, then when you click on "Realistic capacity" the sliders should appear on the right

I disabled Passenger Seats Real Capacity 1.2 but I still do not see where I can modify the capacity of each type of vehicle in game. May I know where exactly I should go to modify it?

Oh, I think this mod is conflicting with Passenger Seats Real Capacity 1.2 that's why I could not see a slider to adjust.

I added sliders which allow to adjust cost and capacity of each type of vehicle (bus, tram, train, ship, plane) separately, as many of you asked. If any problems occur with the new version, tell me in the comments

This mod counts the number of seats. It seems that the American Stagecoach only has 4 seats defined

It does not change the weight of the carriage, but the passengers have their own weight by default, and unless you use the mod I linked in the description, each passenger weights 200 kg

Does the mod edit the weight for carriages as well? So for arguments sake if in the base game a carriage can carry 6 people, and weighs say 2 tons, then if with the mod it can carry 12 people, is the weight then changed to 4 tons? Thanks! :)

The game calculates the cost automatically, it's not trivial to override that, as I would probably have to know the exact formula that is used

Use mod 2949474942 if you want the same without the cost-aspect, so far i see both are exact same code but doesnt have the price-factor.

The only way to add capacity to a vehicle currently would be to add the standing places in the vehicle config. The mod does count standing places, if they are defined, but for most vehicles, they are not

Capacity L has a capacity of around 200 in real life but only 40 in game ;/

Overall the mod is wonderful, though there is one thing that is annoying me, which is busses. With the mod the capacity is decreasing for many busses as it is only counting seats and not standing room. In some busses like the CapaCity L, the standing room is 3 times as high as the seating room in real life, resulting in a catostorphic low amount of capacity. Do you have any idea how to work around this using custom capacity inside the original mods?

There is a pretty big bug that makes this hard to use. by allowing the other seats the price triples on each passenger car. (the 1840 passenger car went from 300k-400k to 800k - 1mil.. any fix?

This mod seems to be miscounting seats on several vehicles such as this:

The number of passengers are significantly less than what is defined in the models/model lua file.

An FYI, there's an assumption made on line 119 of mod.lua where if a compartmentsList exists, that there must be a full structure within in it. If it's empty, like in apt_s_power_car.mdl in https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2848518444 , then the game CTDs when your mod tries to iterate over it. (Urban's Lua implementation is wrong and halts when you try to do access a nil object. The Lua spec says the access should just return zero.)

Some if statements to double-check that a complete compartmentsList struct exists before trying to iterate over it would fix the issue.

The issue in that other mod is getting fixed as I have contact with the creator, but that's not always going to happen.
