@GuyOnAChair Agreed! The Osprey is good but its texture quality is low.

Thank you, I've complained about the play dough pilot for some time now! I do wish the Osprey was upscaled a little though.

they should be tilted a bit more up instead of forward all the way it just looks weird
Neo2266 Jan 25, 2022 @ 12:56pm
I feel so dumb for not realizing the rotors should work this way

In surface tension after climbing onto the roof of the explosives puzzle thing, I saw ospreys with their tilted rotors flying in an unnatural way, could it be fixed?

do i need a custom folder

@ChrisAKAPiefish @AlexGuy There are 2 types of Osprey in the game, those ones are NPC's and can only move a certain speed and a certain distance (they can't exit the map). The one this mod fixes is the skybox model: it is not an NPC, it is scenery that appears in the background, cannot be interacted with, and it's flights are scripted.

I played to the end of we've got hostiles to see the new osprey, but I think they replaced them with helicopters in some recent update, I didn't see any
Magi Apr 9, 2021 @ 2:18pm
yeah i think i need this
AlexGuy Jan 28, 2021 @ 9:39am
Is the Topside Motorpool Osprey fight fixed as well?
ChrisAKAPiefish Jan 23, 2021 @ 2:56pm
The one over the parking lot is probably fine, at slower speeds they do fly with the rotors up, it's only at higher speeds they fly with the rotors down.
LU-C4 Jan 12, 2021 @ 1:34am
Can you do the same for the one that flies over the parking lot building?
Dany 117 Jan 9, 2021 @ 12:30pm

well versed in the art of not utilizing the Osprey's defining feature of tiltable rotors, they are
Drunk Headcrab Dec 23, 2020 @ 8:45pm
There was no need for a fix. Clearly, the pilots were just so experienced that they did not need to bother with rookie steps like not keeping your landing gear down when in mid-flight, or pointing their rotors in the direction in which they wanted to travel. Smh.

well now that you point it out, i need this
