Hey Catcraze777, does ACNH use the same models for the custom clothing patterns as the normal cloths do or nah?

I want to figure it out and if it does and I can map everything out properly, I can make my own custom clothes (uwu)

Sorry, I should've specified that they are in the materials folder and not the models folder.
They're in
materials\models\catcraze777\animal_crossing\clothes_textures_acnh

There are new clothing skins added with New Horizons Update 1.9. Hope those would be considered...

I also realized I didn't make it clear what clothType could be and made it clear it will only be either "Tops" or "Bottoms". Forgot about mentioning that...

I've never made a video and I'm not sure how to so I'm sorry but I don't think I will currently. I do understand the material overrides are complicated though and I'm sorry your having trouble with it. You might be able to use a material override tutorial to help you out though. I also just added an example of the material override parameters to the description in case that help out.

could you please do a video showing how to do it, cause i dont get how to do it, its nothing like how i normally make avatars in sfm.

There are more detailed instructions in the Villager Clothes Pack (Models), but the general idea is for standard non-player villagers, you only need to pay attention to the last letter of the model name (N, H, or L) which denote sleeve length (None, Short, or Long). Then you choose either the top model or dress model depending on the type of clothing. Jackets and shirts, for example, should be put on the top model, while dresses and long coats should be put on dress models.

For humans, which just released earlier today, just use the exact clothing model referenced by the texture name.

i dont understand on how to put the textures on the clothing, i need more specific ways to do it, since the way the clothing is named, its kinda hard to tell what goes where

The description has finally been updated with a MEGA download link for the raw texture PNGs. Use it to help with finding your desired clothes textures!

Hey, I did it! This should literally be every single clothes texture in the game! Will suck to find the clothes you're looking for though with the default file names but they are all here! Now that this is done, gonna start working on porting the human clothes models for Human Pack Dev Shot 4...
