So, uh, I tried to turn on of my Skirmishers into a MEC, and he became a MEC Assault instead. Anyone else who experienced this?

@Dash Im also getting the same reports when subscribing to all on the default LWOTC launch options on the Title Menu. Does anyone have a fix or a workaround, or can confirm the mods work without the missing deprecated master mods?

One of the required mods for this lists Shadow Opps Perk Pack. Shadow Opps Perk pack requires LW2 Class mod, and Lw2 weapons mod, which was designed for people who wanted the LWOTC classes, but not the other LWOTC features. THis must cause conficts with LWOTC. If we blindly choose to susbcribe to all submods, this must get things to not work correctly..

hay i have the research and the proving grounds projects done and the upgrade built and the resources to make a mec but for some reason its blank and it just says i dont have enough resources

Hey Kiruka, I'm working on trying to get the reworked psiMEC class working for my personal game. LWOTC and ModJam, just wondering if you'd know anything about how compatible it would be and anything else possibly. : )

Also it appears when the mec conversion is complete the only things which remain from their pre-mec state are the combat intelligence and unspent AP. Other things (aim, speed, etc) are all re-rolled. Also as I think is mentioned elsewhere their wounded state is wiped out, but any mental impairments remain.

Is my game bugged or are the MEC's hp not doubling in beta strike? I'm playing beta strike and my MECs still have 12 hp, I apologize in advance if I remembered the base hp of the MECs wrong.

Edit: Oddly enough the Hp growth is doubled, its just the base hp.

I have loaded all mods necessary for JAM and Long War wotc. Right now I am getting an error when trying to start the game.

"error detected attempting load of package: MEC Troopers LWOTC"

Any ideas?

forgot to add, Yeah other than the Standing animation, everything was fine, looking at their equipment or their skills "Fixes" their state and in battle they're working as intended. Just that one part of them is weird.

I ran into a problem after making a Mec Soldier... For one, he has no legs... For two, he's doing a T-Pose... I don't even know what caused this.

@Genocide that description is a bit vague, but if you are talking abut the problem I think you are than it has to do with soldier atitudes included in the Tactical Legacy Pack dlc. If a soldier has one of those when turned into a mec it screws up animations in the armory. It should be no problem in actual missions.

I've tried using this mod and for some reason, when I make a Mec Trooper, it looks all... not the way it should. It seems like its missing parts or something. Im not missing any dependencies or anything either. Thoughts?

Pick only True Primary Secondaries and not the other one. Mods like LW2 Secondary Weapons, LW2 Classes And Perks and New Promotion Screen By Default can be ignored as well.

Question about the requirements, do any of them, or their own requirements conflict with each other or lwotc? Because it really feels like they are going to conflict. Several requirements for this mod have their own requirements that add long war 2 features to wotc, which feels like it would conflict with lwotc. At least two requirements seem to require different versions of the same mod; ballistic shields requires primary secondaries, and then the stormrider class requires true primary secondaries [BETA]; should I only get one version of primary secondaries or both? Wouldn't both conflict? It feels really confusing.

If you just want to have a simple MEC Trooper class like in Enemy Within you should probably get the original mod that's listed in the description. This adds a bunch of entirely separate Mec Trooper classes, most of them also quite reliant on the SPARK Arsenal mod aswell.

Looks like this fixed itself. If you are experiencing the same problem as me in the future, what fixed it was having the Mec Hellion get injured. After recovery, the Mec Hellion will be able to equip standard spark rifles as well as the flamethrowers included in the mod.

Trying to get this mod to work with Spark Flamethrowers. Works fine for all classes except the most important -- Mec Hellion.

In order for the Mec Hellion to equip the custom flamethrowers, it needs to be able to equip standard spark rifles, but currently it can only equip the flamethrowers included in the mod.

I looked at the .ini files and the Mec Trooper "should" be able to equip standard spark rifles, but I am a novice at .ini files, and I can't see the difference between the Hellion and the other Mec classes. Any ideas? Thanks.

ever since I found this mod long ago, I love it so much I can't play without it.

Although my only gripe with it is the fact you don't see the class name but the first skill they get when choosing what to convert, a pain especially with modded classes that can use different primary weapons.

Checking back and forth with other soldiers with single primaries to make sure I got the correct class how to deal with it, I know its a me problem but, I was get occupied with it I keep forgetting to change the personality, and I ended up with a bunch of transformers mecs that love to fold into their torsos:MHRISE_Felyne:.

does anyone know if there's any command to reset their personality?
(on the bright side, it makes the ability tree easier to see, but customization a nightmare )

Kiruka's mod will fix it for soldiers gained afterwards as well as for new campaigns, but not for already existing troops. The reason for that is that Kiruka's classes have different internal names than the original Shadow Ops classes.
If you want to change them to Kiruka's version this mod should have the needed console command for it: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1370543410 To use it you also need to know the internal class names, you can find them on the XComClassData.ini of Kiruka's Shadow Ops mod. If you don't want to do that you could also try changing THIS mod's XComClassData.ini to disable the class disabeling by deleting the relevant lines. After that you myyhave to use the respecselectedsoldier console command.

Thanks, but after giving that a try, it still didn't fix the problem of my Shadow Ops class soldiers getting their abilities reset and that's kind of what I'm trying to fix. Is there just no way to have those and Mec troopers in the same game?

This mod uses Shadow Ops Perk Pack and Stormrider as perk packs only and disables the classes that come with them. If you want to play LWotC with Shadow Ops classes I recommend Kiruka's version here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2283957200

For some reason, although this mod has Shadow Ops Perk Pack as a requirement, whenever I have this mod installed, it screws up all my soldiers who have a class from Shadow Ops. Is anyone else having this issue?

Having a bit of an issue where one of the MEC foundry spots is taken up with a trooper that has already undergone augmentation but the space hasn't been freed up after. Any suggestions of how to fix it?

For LWotC keep True Primary Secondaries. It has been a while, but if I remember correctly the original Primary Secondaries had a problem with single-built weapons LWotC uses instead of squad upgrades.

I'm getting conflict problems with mods that are required by the ones needed for this mod. The Primary Secondaries and the True Primary Secondaries (BETA). The ballistic shield mod requires the first. The Stormrider class requires the second. Which one do I keep?
