hmm! that's interesting. it inherits the bills from the electric smelter, so it should work exactly the same as that but with a major speed boost. do you have the same problem with the basic electric smelter?

The Smelter is apparently incapable of destroying clothes. Even when set to allow all, the only things my colonists will obliterate or smelt using the plasma arc smelter are utility items.

When used in non-1.4 games it tries to run the 1.4 patches anyway and ends up erroring in the console. Don't think it breaks anything, just gives: "XML error: <paintable>true</paintable> doesn't correspond to any field in type BuildingProperties."

To fix it you'd probably just have to set up a loadFolders.xml file to tell it to always load "/" and if the games 1.4, load the 1.4 folder.

Suggestions:
1. Lock all new buildings behind the Multi-Analyzer
2. Make the Plasma Arc Smelter consume double the power. Right now it consumes less than an electric smelter, so it makes it useless.

I'll have to give it more of a go.

Sorry, just tried in both Mod Manager and Rimpy and wasn't able to replicate - it works for me. If it's definitely a problem with this mod I could try reuploading it, maybe I accidentally uploaded it with a typo last update.

@Holgast Rimpy is exceptional, and very stable, in my experience. Extremely useful for large mod lists, modifying mod lists, resolving incompatibilities, dependencies, load order, it's pretty great.

The about.xml looks fine to me! Matches exactly with VEF. I'll take a look at it myself in mod manager (I haven't tried rimpy yet)

@Holgast As far as I can remember, Vanilla Expanded Framework has been updated this year on 15th of September, so that might be it.

@Holgast Yo son, I'm getting an error from Rimpy when I try to add this mod in my modlist. It says "Missing dependencies - Vanilla Expanded Framework", but I already have the Vanilla Expanded Framework in there already.

IMO, this might be an issue with the Rimpy mod manager, an improper download of your mod on my part, improper description of dependencies / defs, some mistake somewhere in an .xml folder, some kinda mod incompatibility, or something on the Framework's end.

Please look into it, when you have the time. I would like to be able to use this mod with my current mod lists, since it is pretty cool.

thanks! Actually I would like to change the art at some point, because someone pointed out the perspective is way off and it should be a bit more top down. Just need to remake it.

Anyway, you can check out the patches I've included and just sub out your recipes and findmod :)

Okay, all done! 🥳 it's patched in now. I have no idea why that mod would be causing issues on a heavily modded save, it's just a patch, but I'll try using it again I guess. At least it definitely works on a new save.

I would have added it already, but I think that mod is totally broken; I also had the problem people are reporting that they can't find corpses. maybe it needs to be on a new save?

Hey Fish! Thanks for your review. I've finished with that big update I wanted to add an extreme smelter to this mod, so the extrematorium can now make bone china/ash.

ooh, I forgot about bone china. I'm actually working on adding something else to this mod which could take a little while. Any other bills need adding?

In terms of the custom bills, I could just reset the work required to normal to keep the custom text, and then add work speed x2 to the table.

pros: Less dirty and beauty, Much faster

cons: vanilla bills only. (actually a custom bills that similar to those vanilla ones.)

not recommended for those who came here to find some faster crematorium for another mod bills(like, make bone china from 'Rim of Madness: bones') :steamthumbsup:
