I think that would be kind of annoying, if I'm honest. But if you really want lights reflecting off the mirrors, you could try changing the Light Visibility Ranges option to 'High' in the graphical settings and see if that helps.
If you are experiencing issues with this mod, please explain what that issue is so I have something to work with. DO NOT leave a comment simply saying “update to 1.XX”. This mod does not contain version specific content, and will only receive essential updates as and when they become necessary.
Comments asking for version updates will be deleted and ignored.
Thanks for understanding and happy trucking!
This mod has been updated for use in convoy/multiplayer sessions.
Happy trucking!
Game version 1.43 will likely be released in a matter of weeks. Currently, ALL my mods still work as intended in single player in 1.40, 1.41 and 1.42.
Please do not ask for updates . I'm aware that updates are required for multiplayer/convoy compatibility, but updating anything prior to the 1.43 release will be a waste of time.
Thanks for your understanding!
This mod will continue to work as intended in single player.
Any updates which are required for compatibility with multiplayer/convoy will be made in due course. Hopefully within the next week or so, but I can't make promises.
Please do not ask for updates. I am already aware of the changes that 1.42 brings.
Happy trucking!
The mod description above tells you what the mod does and doesn't do.
This mod does not require an update each time a new game version is released. It was updated when the lighting system was changed in 1.40 (as explained in the mod description above), and will continue to work as intended until such time as SCS decide to change the lighting system in a future game version. If/as/when that happens, the mod will be updated accordingly.
The plus '+' sign after 1.40 in the preview image at the top of this page indicates that the mod will work in all versions of the game from 1.40 onwards.
I'm humbled by the sheer number of players using my mods, and I'm glad that you enjoy them. But please do not aimlessly ask for unnecessary updates.
As with all my mods, non-essential improvements will be made if or when I feel there's a need for them.
Thank you for your understanding.
Jajaja
The one thing you should be aware of is that an update/patch in January seemed to result in beacons on the Cascadia not working when this mod was installed. Again, I can't confirm if that's still the case.
I was hoping to resume modding last month, and get all my mods updated. Unfortunately, I have too much going on in my personal life at the moment to work on anything. Hopefully updates and more mods soon!
I've just checked in-game and i'm not having any issues with beacons on the Cascadia. I've tested them on all trucks and all cab variants and they’re working fine.
This mod doesn't use truck-specific data. If the beacons are working on other trucks, then the issue is likely due to a conflict with a Cascadia-specific mod you're using. But without further info, I can't really offer any more help i'm afraid.
If you would like me to look further into this for you, you can send your game.log file in it's entirety to jimbobsmods@outlook.com, and i'll take a look over the next few days. Please bear in mind that the log only records data for the most recent game session. So if you do want to send the log, you will need to ensure that this mod was installed and activated for the session your log relates to. Finally, please leave a note here once sent, as that email account is not monitored.
Hope this helps. :)
