For example, I just found out that there is a controversy over sexual harassment )=, or rape, it is not clear to me from the comments.
This is a Warhammer mod page guys (& gals) not the US Congress/EU Parliament just chill...
I'll report him as well.
In this case it was at Pfeildorf to revive the Golden Order (faction has been dead for 'ages' in the game). This is their original Capital right? However, I chose Abandon Settlement, as I already owned it, to get it to ruins. Same with a WE settlement earlier where revivification also didnt work. It seems that is the difference from my earlier (successful) revivification of Reikland at Altdorf, where I razed the settlement when conquering before reviving it.
A faction that isn't dead cannot be revived. A ruin that wasn't owned by a faction at the start obviously can't be used to revive a faction.
Sometimes a lord character only has a sword icon when hovering over ruin, and Colonize/Do nothing option. Sometimes a hero character get results 'just empty' when searching a ruin (original capital, for ex Pfeildorf).
Does it depend on how the Ruin came to be? Ie by razing or abandoning. Currently tried to abandon a Settlement to revive faction, but didnt get the option to do so.
After all I won't play without SFO anymore and as you're no longer modding it kinda erases the point of testing, right? I mean I'm not into scripting myself either to maybe continue your mod.
Though if you're still interested about the results, I can do a test with this mod and only the web campaign editor enabled. Easy way to kill and resurrect factions wherever I want.
Unfortunately, I am done modding TWW2 as I burnt out on the game a while ago.
@Herls I've encountered no problems with the Empire mechanics so far. I'm still getting elector count decision prompts etc.
I've tested it several times and its only happened when Ive revived a faction. The latest was Karak Ziflin. I bought them back and all of the events immediately stopped.
