There's a small bug in city name #10, which appears as "TXT_KEY_CITY_NAME_PERU_10" instead of Ica. It is easily fixed by deleting the space at the end of <Row Tag="TXT_KEY_CITY_NAME_PERU_10" > in TextPeru.xml.

This one was quite fun. Great for people who like to wonder-hoard. My economy was nice and robust without me having to focus much on it. The only issue I found with this civ is that the archaeologist production from the UB is tied into the GE, GS, GM great person line, meaning that its costs rise with those. Even with several great person production modifiers, the most archaeologist points I could get any of my cities to produce was 10 per turn. Since the other specialists can generate a lot more than that, I never even got close to getting a free archaeologist. You need to make the archaeologist production its own line, with the first one costing 100 points, the second 200, etc. Other than that issue, I loved everything about this civ.

@Leugi what does 'built-in TSL support' mean? Does it work with YnAEMP? If so, why not add it in the description.

Ecuador was part of the viceroyalty of Peru, after the Borbonics Reforms most of nowadays Ecuador (it was call Audiencia de Quito) became part of Nueva Granada viceroyalty but Guayaquil remains in Peru, until the meeting of Bolivar and San Martin in that city, the first one decided to created the Republic of Ecuador merging those territories...

@josegah: Hmn... seems Ecuador-Peruvian limits has been quite conflictive:

http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conflicto_lim%C3%ADtrofe_entre_el_Per%C3%BA_y_el_Ecuador

It does seem I may have included more territory in my map though. Will see if I can do something.
Common_Divisor Aug 25, 2014 @ 10:59am
Hey Leugi. I could not ignore that the map of Perú includes all Ecuador as a previous Peruvian territory. I am from Ecuador and as far as I know that seems inaccurate. Most of Andean Ecuador was part of Inca, but not Perú. You don´t have to change it, but I just wanted to say. Have my help if you develop the Ecuador CIV for some historical reference.

Quito is the UNASUR Secretatiat, so Ecuador is like the Brusses of Europe. (There is a lot to do before UNASUR gets to be like EU). Also Ecuador is a great place for Tourism, mainly for its natural areas like Galapagos or the Amazon. We are also the main producer of Bananas in the world (Not that I am very proud of it, but Bananas are cheap and great here). Maybe The CIV should be something with tourism and diplomacy bonus.

Update! UA bonuses increased, built-in TSL support, changed the Peace music a bit.

Would you be able to have the custom soundtrack able to download? Im not able to get it through the normal download
Dr. Hells Mar 17, 2014 @ 11:22pm
Leugi  [author] Mar 3, 2014 @ 11:05am
@orlu_: I suppose that Tradition would be good, so you can get more work on Wonders and so more gold. Doing wars as Peru is useful, but mostly random skirmishes you know you can survive, you don't need extra cities, only some peace treaties; and also you need to generate some good digging sites, so warring every now and then is reccommended.

Anyway, an update will come soon BTW, mostly increasing the bonuses a bit.
Rough Mar 3, 2014 @ 8:03am
Hey Leugi, very cool mod. I'm trying to figure out what strategy you intended with this civ. Is it supposed to be Liberty or Tradition? Warlike or peaceful? I just don't get it.

Very nice work! This civilization is great, personal and very nice to play with.
TupacAmaru3 Feb 19, 2014 @ 1:21pm
Awh, nice :D I like everything but I think the UA needs a little buff, and the wished the special unit was BAP Huascer, with 25% more damage bonus if it attacks an adjecent naval unit. But aftter that I love it :D Favorite country.

Great work as always, however, I agree that the UA should be buffed. I've already played most of a game with the UA set to 15% and 2 gold I'm not finding it to be at all overpowered compared to the vast majority of vanilla civs. I find that Peru's greatest weakness is that most of its bonuses don't come into play until the Industrial Era.
Doctor G Feb 16, 2014 @ 8:22pm
why not have Alberto Fujimori Fujimori as the figure head of Peru?

you could have his government Fujimorism and let the Yakusa run wild with corruption selling native peru women to japan, drug smuggling with open arms, and land snatching.
DJSHenninger Feb 16, 2014 @ 11:19am
Nice, keep it up!

10% does seem a bit low, but I always overpower my own custom civs .. :P
If you make peace with two civilizations simultaneously, do the bonuses stack? So, would you get a 20% boost?
Also, is the special theming bonus of the UB better than the original Museum's?
Perhaps a suggestion: instead of increasing the percentage, you could increase the peace time duration. I don't believe peace treaties are that common.

Still have to try the civilization, but I will ;)
regalmanemperor Feb 15, 2014 @ 11:34pm
saw the map on reddit, looks really good, especially with the flowers in the top right
regalmanemperor Feb 15, 2014 @ 11:31pm
wow, earning the archaeologists like great people is an awesome idea! mighty props for that!
Leugi  [author] Feb 15, 2014 @ 6:32am
In fact, I found 15% and 2 gold like too much in my tests (that's how it was). I suppose it depends a lot on what policies you're picking, but with Tradition or Liberty it becomes quite a lot, specially during Golden Ages.
Krajzen Feb 15, 2014 @ 6:29am
1) Awesome awesome awesome 2) Yeah, I also think production bonus should be increased (maybe to 25%?) and maybe gold bonus (+2?)
少林 mord Feb 15, 2014 @ 6:21am
Looking good, but 10% might not be enough, will test later.
